Thank you so much girls!!! I called them back and asked to be tested sooner than 6 months, they said it was not necessary and that irritated cells take about 5-6 months to go back to normal anyway, I did have a vaginal infection a couple months ago, so they told me it could be just that, inflamed cells from that infection, I am trying to stay positive . https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Amcut…what rough sex girl? I wish! lmao!!!.

you guys made me feel much better. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

this is what the Studio owner has sent me, the prices are and Estimate, they haven’t been finalized so they could change slightly, but this would be a two day event July 3-4.

Conditioning and Flexibility": In this workshop, we will start with exercises specific for injury prevention. Amber will teach you how to strengthen you rotator cuff muscles before showing you how to improve your flexibility in a safe manner. We will then learn a short floorwork routine, long pants or leg warmers are a must for this 90 minute class! $65

"Pole Choreography": In an hour and a half, you will learn a choreographed routine incorporating tricks and transitions. Amber will break down each movement so that it is appropriate for all levels and will teach you her signature balletic style which emphasizes extensions and fluidity. Amber will also teach you some key choreography concepts that will help you develop well balanced routines on your own! Price: $75

"Polished Pole": In this 90 minute workshop you are encouraged to come in with spins, climbs, inverts, and combinations which you would like to improve. Amber will show you how to make any move more beautiful by paying attention to lines, toes, hands, and timing. This workshop is appropriate for intermediate/advanced dancers who are interested in polishing their pole dance moves repertoire! Price: $75

A private is 90 dollars for one hour. A semi-private (2 students) is 160 dollars

Come on Ontarians!!! if we fill these workshops with Amber that could be the door to bring more pros this way!!!

hey girlies and guys from Ontario…I posted this on the forum but I thought I would put it here too just in case.

Ok girls, so I’m conducting a little survey here… Amber Richard is thinking of coming to London Ontario to offer her Intermediate/Advanced workshop and a Flexibility workshop, the owner of Aradia has been corresponding with her about it, you all know London is small and Aradia doesn’t have many students so Andrea wants to know if people would actually come and take her workshop, tentative date is first weekend in July, it’s a long weekend so that should be good if you are traveling. So who would want to come to London ONtario to see Amber? raise your hand!!!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

    Oh wow, amazing picture!!!

first move that wowed me was the open hip hold, I tought it wasn’t possible, how can you hold yourself up with no hands NO legs, all your body weight on a little tiny piece of skin on your hip, now I can do it no problem, but at the time I just couldn’t believe it was possible, shoulder mount was another one, I knew how it was possible but I never thought I will be stronger enough to pull that off, I now can superinvert and do a decent Aerial shoulder mount. right now Starfish still wows me, it looks impossible.

OHHHHH, looking at it from the other side, it is a double brass monkey, but from the other side…looks like a Marley, oh well, let’s settle this, if you’re not holding your foot is a double brass monkey, if you are holding your foot then it’s a double marley, sound good? LMAO!!!

Alethea calls this a double Marley, your leg is in a Marley position, not a monkey positon, here’s a picture of it….she is not holding her foot because well…she’s bad ass like that. LOL. Look for the her video of her performing at the LA pole show, she does it then. This picture is from that performance.

I don’t feel we pole dancing needs to be in the olympics, I do think it needs to be an organized sport, but as it is, why change it to gain acceptance? Pole dancing weeds out the weak, mentally and physycally, polers are women with strong personalities who stand up for their passion no matter what others say or think about it, we have poles in the middle of our living room for f’s sake, if Pole is even in the olympics it would be just another apparatus in a gymnastics routine, like others already said, it would be 16 year old gymnasts competing, flipping on a vertical bar, there will be no dancing,I think a lot of polers are under the impression that our pole dancers would be competing, I do not believe that’s the case, already made gymnasts would be training on pole and that’d be it, it would be unaccessible for all of us, one of the things that is so awesome about pole dancing is that women of all ages, all sizes all shapes, who get hooked on poling and are really serious about can and do get incredibly strong and take stages by storm all over the world, they are stars. I dont think being in the olympics would gain us acceptance either, well….only if you train barefeet and in a sports bra, I am pretty we, polers in 7inch heels and small bikinis will still be looked down on, there will be the "Pole athletes/gymnasts" and those other "dirty whores" who refuse to take off those stripper heels. hahahahahaha. that’s how I see it anyway.

I can’t do this one yet, I have however managed split grip aysha and forearm aysha, but my stronger arm is the one bent, my other one is at the bottom, I cant for the life of me change that, that’s how I learned butterfly (at a studio!), the told me dominant hand stays on top, I haven’t taken any classes in a while, but that stuck with me, cant put my dom. hand on the bottom, I wonder if that’s why I can’t do this one yet….lol
