People of ONTARIO!! Amber Richard workshop!!
Ok girls, so I’m conducting a little survey here… Amber Richard is thinking of coming to London Ontario to offer her Intermediate/Advanced workshop and a Flexibility workshop, the owner of Aradia has been corresponding with her about it, you all know London is small and Aradia doesn’t have many students so Andrea wants to know if people would actually come and take her workshop, tentative date is first weekend in July, it’s a long weekend so that should be good if you are traveling. this is what the Studio owner has sent me, the prices are and Estimate, they haven’t been finalized so they could change slightly, but this would be a two day event July 3-4.
Conditioning and Flexibility": In this workshop, we will start with exercises specific for injury prevention. Amber will teach you how to strengthen you rotator cuff muscles before showing you how to improve your flexibility in a safe manner. We will then learn a short floorwork routine, long pants or leg warmers are a must for this 90 minute class! $65
"Pole Choreography": In an hour and a half, you will learn a choreographed routine incorporating tricks and transitions. Amber will break down each movement so that it is appropriate for all levels and will teach you her signature balletic style which emphasizes extensions and fluidity. Amber will also teach you some key choreography concepts that will help you develop well balanced routines on your own! Price: $75
"Polished Pole": In this 90 minute workshop you are encouraged to come in with spins, climbs, inverts, and combinations which you would like to improve. Amber will show you how to make any move more beautiful by paying attention to lines, toes, hands, and timing. This workshop is appropriate for intermediate/advanced dancers who are interested in polishing their pole dance moves repertoire! Price: $75
A private is 90 dollars for one hour. A semi-private (2 students) is 160 dollars
Come on Ontarians!!! if we fill these workshops with Amber that could be the door to bring more pros this way!!!

Toronto!! If she came to Toronto that would be awesome. London is a maybe, the cost to get out there and then for the workshops, and somewhere to stay really adds up when I do the math. It’s a maybe for me but I’m really going to try to make it happen!

Please let us know …. Ottawa is better but Montreal works too!! I was telling the girls at class last night and they all got super hyped and we would prob all come down … there are at least 6 of us in her intermediate class and another 6 in her beginner class.

Karol Helms will be coming to Stoney Creek (Hamilton Area) on Saturday June 26 for 4 workshops!It will also be the grand opening of my brand new studio with 12 twenty foot pole and 3 or 4 sets of silks.
