Try one of these
http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/25-free-digital-audio-editors/The only one on that list I can vouche for is Audacity – I have used it and it’s pretty simple. I do some sound engineering/vo work and I use Adobe Audition but I don’t think there is a light version or a trial version if it. You can always opt to have someone do it for you too. I think a studio would probably only charge about $50.

You are right there!!!!!!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

I haven’t looked at their certs but I am going through Empwerment Through Exotic Dance’s program currently and it’s AMAZING! Mary Ellyn is giving you 10 years worth of experience as a pole dancer and a pole instructor not to mention she was a nurse understands how pole effects the body. Her program covers a lot of safety info but not just student safety but instructor safety – how do you spot a student and make sure you don’t get hurt so youcan teach another day? The program also covers business considerations and gives you all the ins and outs of running a business, opening a studio, liability, insurance (each instructor needs their own insurance.)
The program also comes with a DVD chock full of moves – I got a lot of new basics out of it which is great for returning students, you can add more things/variations to your lesson plan to suit more people AND to just change up your choreo a bit.
Her program assumes you can pole dance so it teaches you EVERYTHING you would ever need to know about teaching. IT’s very thorough and in my opinion worth every penny. I got a lot out of it.
The intermediate section even teaches you HOW to run multi level classes!!!!!!

My name came from a conversation eons ago at one of the radio stations I worked at. One of my interns was also an exotic dancer so we used to talk shop all the time. She already had a "stripper name" and yes, that’s the term we used – no offense intended…and I had only ever used a really bad "stripper name" so it was time for a new one. The problem IS my real name Crystal already sounds like a stripper name. I looked at the computer and the display was "Charris" and I thought Charley. She loved it as a name for me because I am just not super girly so Charley stuck.
Shortly thereafter there was the annual round of firings and I was cut as was the entire morning show and the afternoon guy, the imaging director and most of or promotions staff…so I had 6 months severance coming and had already purchased a pole because I missed pole dancing so much (although I couldn’t DO anything.) I spent those 6 months playing around and then started posting on forums and Charley really came into her own.

You really will want a spinning option at some point and since there is little difference in price pay the extra https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_compress.gif

Off topic but I was dreaming of no hands cradle last night – which is weird because I don’t often do it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif
Knees no longer hurts on my good side – it still hurts on my bad side and looks clunky because of that but I will nail it opposit side.
I only do no handed cradle on spin, it hurts on static and rips my stomach. I heard of someone needing surgery and severely injuring themselves from doing it.

Althought I am not big chested, several ladies in a group routine I did were. We found the best tops between the flimsy exotic wear and the sturdy exercise gear were those made for dancers. Some can be campy and usaully you will have to visit a few sites before you find anything you really want

Stephanie, I found that both the 2&4 made me slip. NOW it was great on my body. But I generally don’t need tackiness on my body – that seems to stick really well. I am using it on an X-pole. I think itac is IDEAL for those who have dry hands, not so good for those with sweaty hands.
For sweaty hands I like Tite Grip, Grrrip and Buckley’s no sweat. I can sweat through Dry hands pretty fast but I like it when I need that extra tac for new moves. I just bought gloves too, those seem great for new tricks.

Well, I think that students can do well on either because it really boils down to what you are trained on using. Lots of club dancers begin on spinners and acclimate to it and some schools even start you out on spin. But if you aren’t comfortable with spin you might not feel good about teaching it. Personally I would like to have the option to go spinning because eventually you could teach special workshops on it or have special guests who do well in spin come and teach. Are X-poles an option?
I don’t think studios NEED spinning poles but I think that it’s nice for future considerations. We only have one spinner and no one has used it yet (besides me.)

It’s much harder to control your body while it is in motion. To date i don’t think I have ever done an entire routine on spinny. I’m starting to use it more now and have gotten better with but wow! um scary!
I have so much respect for those who can work spinny. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
