You are all very kind. I’m telling myself that the spirit of that child either just found other parents he or she felt fit better, or has just decided to come at a later time. I was halfway done knitting a baby blanket, I’m going to finish it and donate it. Though as strange as it is, considering it was very early pregnancy…I miss having him/her in my tummy. I haven’t told my family yet…I don’t know what to say to them.

Oh right on! I grew up with the natural stuff. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif But I hadn’t heard of this one yet… (mostly because my grandmother is the herbalist that mixes stuff for the whole family lol.) First time I ever saw a doctor was when I was preggo with my son.

One thing I noticed…is a tradition I’ve shared with many of my friends who are also mothers is a form of bonding called boob showing. And it’s exactly that…we show, giggle (not meanly) and compliment.

I have never felt mor secure, than knowing that women who I regard as amazingly beautiful, have the same scars mine does. The stretch marks, extra skin, etc. And the thing is…when I would see it on other women…I never saw it as ugly…EVER, which kinda forced me to change my outlook on my own body.

It made me realize that my husband hasn’t been lying to me when he tells me I am beautiful to him.

    (Edited to add last sentence.)

In all honesty…I would be totally happy with my flab if I could just be more graceful. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif That’s my goal. I have a decent amount of cellulite, however if the dance is beautiful no one’s going to be looking at the dimples on your bum. (And we all have them.) So yea…my goals, grace and flexability. And may those creative muses inspire me to creat something neat.

Personally, I think any negative thought or feeling is like a drug, they can be addeictive and procreate…kinda like rabbits on crack. And in reality (this is my opinion btw) you’re really being your own parasaite, and draining yourself when you feed on your own negative tendencies. Best weapons I’ve found in my arsenal against negativity…are humor and practicality, maybe a little spite. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif

So when you acknowledged the parasaite, its kinda like telling yourself to knock it off. Self dicipline is one of the most admirable qualities one can have. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Best advice I ever got on body image. Was from a another woman on a fourm actually. She said to look at yourself naked in the mirrow, completely unbiased…every form of your body, every dimple, anything and everything, is the exact representation of a goddess.

If we all had the same body…there would be no beauty in it. And part of taking in beauty is that it is uncommon. It’s different. And every one of us is different. Therefor…we’re all damn beautiful.

    Awesome post!

I think pole dancing can be so beautiful….like…ballet on a stick! Every artform takes practice and causes frustration if it’s worth it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Well…I actually just miscarried. But it’s better sooner in the pregnancy than later. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif I think that I will keep up with the exercise advice though. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif Thank you for your replies.
