Waist hooping is a great starting point for all body hooping. Hooping takes coordination, so give yourself time.

Tried it today, awesome workout! I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to keep the hoop up for maybe 3 minutes on my third try! And I used your tutorial to make my own hoop as well 😀😀😀😀
Yay!!!!!!
OMG!!! I am 32 years old and I have NEVER been able to hula hoop and today I was able to keep the hoop going for the first time!!!! I think I feel more accomplished then I did when I did my first invert!!!!! Veena, you rock!!!!! :)
Yes, you can :) I just don't suggest weighted hoops for the lessons because its very hard to use them off the body or anywhere other than the waist and hips. Not that you can't use them but you'll get big bruises! lol
Are weighted hoops ok to use just on the hips, not other joints?
You can use them continuously to push the hoop around. The hip circle method is the most difficult I feel. Your making small pelvic circles.
Are the hip circles meant as a quick trick or are they actually supposed to be used to push the hoop around? When I try it, my hoops just falls to the floor.
I ordered it and wait to make my first video challenge! :)))
It's a lot of fun!
Oh Veena...This is great!!I want a hoop!!
That's great 💜💜💜
