SPINNING POLE- BEGINNER COMBO: I've listed it as beginner, but this isn't meant for brand new dancers. This is for strong beginners with a solid pole hold and sit. Level 2 or 3 would be best.

Aha, my outside leg does touch the pole first. I noticed I tilt my body slightly towards that side when I lift up. Don't know if I'm pushing off too hard, or if I'm not yet strong enough to hold myself with that much control.
Are you leading with the correct leg? Whatever direction your spinning the OUTSIDE leg needs to pull in last. Also is your pole too tight? Some poles just don't spin as freely as others. 😊
I can't seem to get the pole to spin when I open my legs in a pole hold. The second my legs open it seems to stop the pole
I love the leg variations that you did.
Thank you Tamarinda!!
Can not express how much I love your teaching methods. I have always loved this move but struggled with it and I would loose control. I would have never considered getting into that from a performance climb type grip. Also how you hook your hands in the back to keep stable is a great tip cuz I always had problems with that too. I'm so happy that you decided to do these lessons. Really really happy not just a little bit happy but a lot of happy.
Working on pole holds while spinning will help build strength and control.
