This video demonstrates how I used BLUE [not red] Loctite to prevent my Yaheetech pole from unthreading/screwing when I dance on STATIC mode. This will muck up the joints, so it's only an option if you don't mind keeping your pole in one piece.
If you're using an economy pole and choose to leave the joints alone, understand you'll want to check them often. As in several times throughout your pole session as they can begin to unthread if you spin on static to the left.

Is this a problem with xpole? I did have a cheaper pole that would come apart everytime I tried using it. I ended up disposing of it before I ended up injured. I purchased xpole based on highly recommended reviews online.
It’s only a problem with the first Generation X-poles. They joined together with threaded pieces just like this. The new x-poles use joints to connect the pieces. If you’d like to learn the difference between luxury and economy poles, I have a free podcast. Let me know if you’re interested.
Okay mines about a year old so should be good! I havent had an issues the little its been used, thankfully.
Yeah, this video doesn’t apply to current xpoles at all.
