I get forearm pain with this one - any tips on arm placement?
Hmmm, that’s something you should address for sure because it shouldn’t hurt up into the forearm to put pressure on your hands. Sometimes it can just be that things need to pop into place cause they’re slightly out of alignment, but you could also try stretching your forearms and foam rolling them before working on this trick. If that doesn’t help, let me know.
I don’t think I have the flexibility yet to do this. It feels like it’s partially my shoulders not rolling back enough to reach the floor, in order to get my hips up far enough to sweep my legs under. But it also feels like it could be quad flexibility as well. I’m a bigger gal, but also short so I have more to sweep under but not enough arm length to compensate. I’m not sure if that makes sense. I wonder if some of the stuff that’s challenging is literally having more body to reach around, tuck under, etc regardless of flexibility. I’m fine with that, it would just be reassuring to know I may need to try an alternative. Any insight you might have would be welcome; I’ll keep trying! Side note, I love love love the companion videos you have with every move. It is so efficient to have at my fingertips what I need to support any particular move!
I could provide an alternative or modification if you upload a video if you’d like to do that use the ask Veena button and that will send me a personal message and then on that thread we can share video back-and-forth!
Yes! That would be so great. I will record one later this evening!
Sounds good!
