Today you'll practice pole tricks that build upper body strength, then you'll begin practicing a new pole dance routine!
Pro tip: Below are some more tips to help you learn a dance routine
Before you work on the routine:
During the practice session:
Reinforce your mind:
Review before bed: Reviewing the steps right before sleep can help improve retention.
Visualize: Mentally run through the routine when you are not dancing.
Film yourself: Record yourself dancing and watch it back to spot mistakes and see what needs work.
Use cues: Create your own personal cues, such as snapping your fingers or saying a word, to help you remember the next step.
Say it aloud: As you practice, say the names of the steps or count the beats out loud to reinforce the connection between the verbal command and the physical movement.
Turn off your eyes: Once you've learned a sequence, try practicing it without looking at the teacher or a video to rely on your internal cues.
Allow the videos to play in order and follow along. Feel free to pause anytime you need to.

Omg that dance routine was SO FUN. It was hard to stop after 5 tries lol
I’m happy you had fun! ?
I'm back after a nearly 3 week break while I was RVing out west! I find breaks very helpful because like today, I figure things out that evaded me before. Turns out in split grip, I was placing my inside hand way too low! Thigh rests suddenly became EASY. Also realized I wasn't quite pressing both inside of knee and shin to the pole to climb. These little things change the game entirely!
That's so great!!! Yes, often our brains just need some time to process. Welcome back, some amazing changes are coming to the beginner programs soon!
Great! I can't wait to do your micro bend workshop and get rid of that pesky thing!
I hope you’ll find the exercises helpful to improve leg lines!
Day 3 done feeling stronger than ever xx ? an as for the routine ???? I got lost a few times an I couldn't do the part where your on your back an then shoulders ? tattoo is still fresh xx but I've saved it xxxx??
Oh yeah, take care of that new tattoo!!
??????
Yay, I was able to climb TWICE today for the first time ever--tried it with the push grip and that did the job!
Whoot!!!
This was fun. Getting better with thigh rest. I wish I had more time to practice the routine 1 more time.
Yay!!! ?
Really fun dance routine, I've run through it three times and might try again tonight, I'm enjoying it so much. Its cold and my pole is a bit slippery so the pole climb and sit combo is a challenge!
Yay! Glad you you had fun with it!
I plan to do an invert program after I've finished this level three program- which one would you recommend I tackle? There is the 30 day one, Veenas classroom and ultimate guide to inverts, should I start with one in particular? Im so excited haha.
I would love to see how the Veena’s class for Inverts works for people so…..I know people do well with the 30 day program and you could start with the class and move to the program if the class it too fast paced. Really tho, they’re different learning styles so whichever feels better for you.
I will try the classroom then! I'll post my experience along the way- it's gonna be so fun weee.
Sweet!
Yay looking forward to this tomorrow. I love your lessons ????
Thank you!
It can be called cradle sometimes places
Are jamilla and cradle the same? I feel like I learned it in my class but they called it cradle
day 3 ✅
I had SO MUCH FUN TODAY. The dance routine was such a blast, and I was able to climb the pole repeatedly for the first time! ?? ? ?
Whoot! That's exciting!!
