Today is so relaxing as it's a rest day. I'd love to hear your answer to my challenge of setting a timer for three minutes to observe your surroundings. How did it feel to connect with the present moment for just a bit? I'll go first: right now, I hear Christmas music and my husband making cookies while our new puppy is running around. I can smell the cookies and the garlic chicken I made earlier. Our home feels nice and warm because of all the tasty food we've made.
Pro tip: Foam rolling and then slipping into a nice hot bath with Epsom salt and magnesium is a wonderful treat! Self-care is just as important as training.

Love those rest days! Especially when I’m already feeling exhausted by life! 😅 It’s a nice reward and really helps to keep me balanced from “over doing it”, which is my propensity! Being intentional about creating periods of rest in my life is very hard because I’m always looking at what I COULD be doing to get ahead in life. But rest is SO IMPORTANT!! These days, it’s a non-negotiable 💜. I can hear traffic outside if my window but otherwise it’s silent. I can hear the patter of me typing this message on my phone, though 😆.
😁😁😁
I can hear my baby, my husband and my dog... all three snoring peacefully right next to me 🤣
That must be lovely!
I can hear the birds chirping, singing to me outside!
Awesome comment. It inspres me too!
