Thanks Keex. I did wonder how Karol had placed this weekend since I had only saw they Announced Michelle and Alethea. Wasn't able to find any info about the competition on their page.
I did not know that! I knoew they ahd started posting stuff earlier this year but there were only a few. Have not checked back in a while.
So Keex...will they be posting the vids from this year too now? That would be awesome!
@Mary Ellyn: I have no idea. I'm waiting with baited breath like the rest of you and I've already seen each performance from the best seat in the house : ) I did see on the USPDF fan page that videos are coming soon. And I noticed that they worked with a new video company this year so perhaps that will make a big difference in how quickly they're released too.
Yet another phenomenally talented and articulate artist representing pole dancing and the USPDF title supremely well. The legacy continues with Michelle Stanek. Thought you might enjoy this awesome interview w/ her plus highlight videos from the 2012 USPDF Championship. http://www.animalnewyork.com/2012/meet-the-us-pole-dancing-champion/
Just posted!! Michelle's performance!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrUsrKq4AZI&feature=youtu.be
OMG!!!!!!! Michelle is...SO FREAKING INCREDIBLE! Thank you Chemmie for posting the link!
thanks, chemgoddess!! 😁
That was freakin' incredible!! Thanks for posting Chemmie!
I had to wait 15m for the video to buffer on my phone, but oh my geez that was amaze balls. Thanks for sharing chem
@CapFeb: TOTALLY worth the wait, huh?
I rewatched it like, 8 times and completely drain my battery, Keex. in short; TOTALLY WORTH IT!

I loved this routine. Contained, controlled power and sensuality...great choreography and characterisation...she is in the vein of Natasha & Oona-style powerful Chinese Pole-esque acrobatics and lyrical movement for sure which is not something I feel I can aspire to ( although I love watching it) but the care she put into making this a performance is definitely something I can learn from! I can't wait to see the guest performances at Miss Texas Pole Star this Saturday from the USPDF competitors...I hope she does this one!
opps I don't think she will be at MTPS but I know Karol & Alethea will :)
Thank you everyone for your kind words! I am happy you liked the piece as much as I did! It was an incredible journey of growth, focus, will, creation and a lot of work from the moment I hit the "submit" button to the moment I finished my last movement on the stage. I know they are working hard to release more photos and videos from this year and I am anxiously waiting to see all of them too! Everyone, Pro + Amatuer were fantastic. GO US POLE!
It was incredible. I felt SO MUCH emotion while watching it. Amazing embodiment and movement and power and passion. Congrats!!
