I'm concerned about that now too. It is *supposed* to be easy...bahhhh! I guess I'll find out if he calls me back.
You need the air source to put it on. I got about 24" without it. It won't budge on or off. A mattress pump may work. I'll try that if the air compressor doesn't do it. It's just a much bigger pain in the ass than I anticipated and definitely not an item designed to be frequently taken on and off. Supposedly, the more you install/remove, the easier it gets.
You're also supposed to repeat the process to remove it.
Oh, no, this sounds harder to put on and remove than I thought.... Sounds like it will be extremely difficult to remove.. Please let us know how it goes! :(

If you have a leaf blower (or something like a shop vac that you can reverse) it's a piece of cake. I can get mine on and off in a couple of minutes - not such a big deal - and totally worth it because I loooove the grip as opposed to the metal. You can email or call the company and they'll help you out if you are stuck - they are very helpful! It's a little awkward at first, but once you get the hang of it it's easy. A mini electric leaf blower is only like $25 at Wal-mart if you don't have one.
My leafblower didn't work because the nozzle was too big. Thanks for the tip though. I may check it out tomorrow.
I'm glad to see there is some discussion on this. I was looking into it but was unsure.
Okay, I got the leaf blower to work. I had to stretch one end over the nozzle and then clamp it down. It wasn't the easiest process but I can see how it would get easier with each application. I'm still on the fence whether I like it or not. Honestly though, I'm still on the fence whether I like pole or not, lol. The grip is great and I like that it doesn't matter whether or not my hands sweat. It does make the pole a little too thick for my comfort, but again, I haven't had a lot of success falling in love with pole (I'm more a silks/lyra girl). I just never feel that secure with the pole. I was hoping the pole sleeve would make a huge difference, but while it does make some difference, it wasn't pole changing like I'd hoped. I'll give it a few more go's before I decide what to do with it.
