I had the change to play with one a while back. totally recommend! its every poler dream for those cold winter days that your skin just dont grip no matter how much crap you put on, or its so cold you cringe just thinking about taking clothes off. that being said its no replacement for normal pole and dont think I would recommend for beginners. unless this becomes a standard you still need to develop a strong hand grip and learn how to use body skin as points of contact to hold on. that takes time, effort, a lot of conditioning and its part of the challenge :)

First I love these but $250 is a bit much when there are other solutions. Second, are they hypoallergenic? Is there anything in them or the rubber that could cause skin reactions?
I want to know how you would clean something like this (either of the two). Anyone who has ever had a silicone phone sleeve knows how nasty they get in a short time frame.

Okay, so my initial impression isn't that hot. For one, getting the sleeve on is extremely difficult. I assumed it would roll on like a condom, lol, but that's not the case. You're supposed to somehow insert an air source, like a leaf-blower, to the open end and then slide it on. I don't have an adapter on my leaf blower that the polesleeve will fit over and I seriously doubt a hairdryer would work. I'm pressure sure it would burn the motor up. So right now, the polesleeve is partially on my pole (I can't get it back off) and laying uselessly on the floor. I bought some adapters for my air compressor and I'm going to try that Tuesday.

Do you need the air blowing into it when you put the pole sleeve on? or just to open it? I am so confused! That info really should be on the website....
I would think you could buy a cheapo air mattress inflater and that might work?

Wonder how much air pressure is needed to get it on. And yes, they really should let people know this before they sink money into it. Wonder how you are supposed to get the thing back off?
I'm concerned about that now too. It is *supposed* to be easy...bahhhh! I guess I'll find out if he calls me back.
