oooh never saw that before! new stuff to try =) thanks for the link!
thank you amyxshi, veruca and solya ! 🙂 loads of stuff to work on....
Congrats! I agree, leaning back a bit more and getting your body a little more horizontal seemed to help me start. I still have to use a bit of momentum, I dont have the dead lift part either! I also agree that starting in a basic invert and coming down in a shoulder mount really helped me learn the strength and control portion of the mount going up! Everyone places their hands in a different grip, I like the cupped hand grip and as far as sides go, I put the pole on my left shoulder with right hand on top and kick up with the right leg. I have seen people do right shoulder right hand on top and right leg! I guess its all how you learn it and feel safe with it! GOOD JOB! 🐱
Thanks for all the tips, I too was wondering what do I do with it?? Have been practising everynight and last night I hardly kicked up and I managed to hold it with legs open before gripping onto pole yay!! I also got the igana mount for the first time, needs work though it isn't pretty. Any tips on that one?? 🐱 🐱
