Several Poles being sold..

Hello Everyone! I have been waiting to get a pole for months now and I finally found a pretty good deal.. There is a lady selling several 40mm and 45mm chrome X Pole Xperts on Ebay right now! Also, the starting price is $225, and shipping is $60. Can anywhere verify these are real X-poles and not the fakies that go around on Ebay from time to time?

They don't look like 40s and they are not Xperts.....the base is the old style and so are the poles themselves, where they screw together. The Xperts have joints that hold the poles together. They could be a 45mm or 50mm xpoles. The 40mm pole is fairly new, so unless by some chance these are from a test market area, and they happen "test" them using the older style, they are not 40mm Xpert poles! This person maybe nice but the pole in the picture is not a 40mm xpert..... We are an authorized xpole dealer here, we offer Free shipping. ❤️

First off is the tools, second, the carrying case, third, it appears that lindsgotts91 has actually talked to this person, forth, the price. Lastly, the cheap ones never say XPole in their writeups, let alone call it out as an XPert. They will have an X in the listing but will never actually call it an X (look at the descriptions I have listed below). One even calls it an expert (notice the misspelling). If you have concerns, contact the seller and see if you can talk to her directly. Veena, those are the bottoms for the X Sport poles, but it seems odd that there is a dome with the Sports as opposed to the flat top.

I did not even notice that they were the old style screw together. I do know that I have never seen the fake ones with a carrying case. I have a feeling the person who listed them does not know a whole lot about them and just took the info off of the XPole site or used the drop down suggestions on the ebay site. And, yeah, it is not a 40.

The seller is saying 40 OR 45mm down at the bottom. So yeah, I think they just don't know a lot about the poles, or... they know that the 40s are new and popular right now so they're trying to get buyers buy using the term 40mm

I ran into the issue of purchasing a pole that was SUPPOSED to be a 45, but I got it home and realized it was a 50... Just be careful.

See, I won't buy anything unless they accept paypal. Even on items that cannot be returned if you can prove that what you were sold was not what was advertised then you will get your money back. It may not be instantly but you will get your money.

Very true. I've owned an eBay store for 4 years and Paypal is always very, very good about pleasing their customers. Just open a claim, not much the seller can do. On the flip side it's very easy for buyers to take advantage of this.

Dang it! Thanks Veena, I believe you, i figured something had to be off. So Im gonna talk to her again and see what the Heck... hmmmm if they are not what im looking for I will probably just get it brand new through here and pay all out..🙁 Kinda very disappointed... but glad i got all this feed back thanx ladies!

The other suspicious thing, just so you are aware, is that the auction lists it's for different sizes, etc, but there is only one auction (and it's auction-style, not quantity). Also, seller has zero feedback and just created alias in June.

Okay i asked the lady whats what about these poles being 40mm in the pic and why she is selling the new 40mm anyways. this is what she said.. Dear Lindsey, I forgot to mention in the last email- When i spoke to the Xpole Representative (Kemara) she said that there are 3 main pole sizes (40mm_ recommended for beginner or individuals with small hands), (45mm- which is the standard size for the average individual) and lastly the 50mm- which is gives a better grip for the legs when doing aerial spins. I was advised to buy 5 of the 40mm and 5 of the 45mm Xpert Xpoles because these poles were to be used for my business (Teaching Pole dancing classes). Unfortunately the business was unsuccessful in drawing members in and I didnt want the Xpoles just laying around collecting dust- hence why i am trying to sell them on ebay. Anyway I hope this sheds some light on the situation, just in case your friends have dissuaded you from buying the pole. Also if you are wondering about why the price is $225- its because i bought it in bulk from Xpole (which means as a business owner you are allowed to buy the Xpoles at wholesale pricing) and i dont care about making a profit off the poles (my husband and i just wanna break even because we endured such a high business loss :( . Anyway have a great day :) SO what do you guys think now.. is this possible..I think shes telling the truth but whats up with someone said it look like the old screw together model??

She also said this soo we shall see..:P Dear Lindsey, I will take a few more pics of all the parts that the pole consists of- but i assure you that i bought all 10 of my poles from Xpole inc. for my business and they are all Xperts 5 of which are 40mm and 5 of which are 45mm. The way to actually distinguish each pole is by weight (the 45mm is about 3lbs more in its package than the 40mm) plus the diameters of the poles is a clear signal- i am surprised that your friends thought that they were able to distinguish between the 45mm or 40mm because unless you measure it- you'd never really be able to know. Maybe its different when you buy the Xpoles in bulk as opposed to individual? Im not sure but i still have the original box that Xpole sent it in and it clearly has all its labels/ Xpole carrying cases. Anyway i wish you a great day :) - hankos822

It seems as if she is really skirting around the questions being asked. Mabye she really thinks she bought original X poles, (like I did before I knew better). My fake pole looks just like the picture and yes, it DID come with the carrying case stamped with X-pole and all. I thought the base in the picture looked larger, as mine is, compared to a real X pole. I think maybe this lady was mislead in the first place as well. Fakes are so hard to tell, until you actually use a fake vs. a real.

The pic she shows is not a 40mm because it has threading and not joints to put the pole pieces together. All of the NEW xperts regardless of size have joints. Also the XPERTs are bottom loading not top. :)

And really Lyme? I ahve not seen any of the fake XPoles come with teh carrying cases (at least they are not shown in any of the pics). Did yours come with allen wrenches, too?

Yes, my sister and I both bought what were fakes at the time. We paid $159.00. Came with carrying case, case for the dome, different types of wrenches, different extensions, clear silicone top and an X-pole instruction video (however poor quality). The only thing ours doesn't have is the "X" mark on it, or did they come with serial numbers. I will try to upload a picture of my bag at least.

I'm just saw the post about her having a studio....I wasn't saying I think they are fake...I just want you to make sure that IF you want a 40mm pole she has one.....because the picture that I saw was of the older style xpole, with threading (this is not a 40 they only have joints) You could have her send you a pic of the 40 and if it has joints then go from there. If it has threading don't buy it.
