I SCREAMED when this happened (I watch the show with my dad). Eliana is a ballet dancer with the Joffrey Ballet, but I think she also did pole with Cirque de Soleil, so she knows what she's doing...though she's obviously out of practice at the moment and didn't get to do TOO much in the routine. But OH MY GOSH, I was so excited that it was getting more mainstream! And the judges didn't say anything upsetting.
Chumpchkin beat me to it but yes, Eliana Girard does know what she is doing on pole. Tiffany does not do pole which is why the only thing she did was the beginning of an inverted V and I am sure that was tremendously difficult for her. Eliana has studied pole as well as lyra and is actually quite beautiful. From my searching, it appears she has taken all of her videos off of youtube recently. Its funny because I had a bunch of people come up to me at work and ask me if I saw it. They were all raving about the move that she did at the end and of course not having seen it I had no idea what they were talking about.
Ok they should have shown the you tube video.... Wow! Is she double jointed or something?? She is the most flexy person I have ever seen!
