Here's my experience... (you can see my pictures on my profile I'm pretty sure). I work for a school system and I had them at one time posted on my FB page in a PRIVATE album. Only certain people were allowed to see that album (not all my friends could see the album, only select friends). Anyway, SOMEhow... a principal got wind of my pictures and at a faculty meeting brought them up! Yeah... they were discussing social networking sites and how you need to be careful about what you post. She used my pictures as an example of what NOT to post (didn't show them, just described them in detail), saying "a teacher had posted a picture of herself wearing BOOTY shorts and a BRA upside down on a STRIPPER POLE!!! Can you believe that?!?" and of course the whole room was agasp with shock and awe... It just really pisses me off the negative connotation that she spun on what we do. I mean sure... in this day and age, I'd probably make a hell of a lot more money than I do teaching if I wanted to dance professionally, but I'm in this for SPORT and FITNESS. I can't tell you how much pole dancing has done for me as far as confidence goes... my body has changed so much for the better. But if I had a dime for every time someone tried to judge me for how I do it, I'd be a rich be-atch! People that judge you are just jealous and that's all there is to it. They just wish they could be 1/2 as hot as you, period! Unless you are wearing a cloak, sitting on a bench and banging a gavel... your ass shouldn't be judging ANYone. Love the pic, girl!

I love that pic! Sexy! ☀️

They're just mad because it's.. really hot. It's about being unwillingly pushed into a sexual response. Yeah, it may not be -turned on-... but .... That breathless feeling we get when we make eye contact with the can't-keep-hands-off-eachother couple in the restaurant. The big gulp that you get when a big old booty walks by. That inexplicable need to look away when the disturbingly charming grocery store man maintains eye contact.
It is a beautiful, arty picture. I think you look fantastic. People have weird ideas in their heads about pole dancing. If you posted a pic of yourself in a teenie tiny bikini, on the beach, no one would say anything. I think the more people that post pics of themselves on their poles, the better. Let people see that everyday women are learning to pole, and embracing their bodies and sexuality. I worry a little about what my family thinks when I post pics on facebook, but poling is a part of my life, and you can't control what other people think. I say, keep posting your pics, you are beautiful.
You look great to me in that pic. Your friends are probably just seeing you in a new light for the first time. Are you a librarian in real life?? LOL.

I really like this pic of you! LOL...I have pole pics of myself up on my FB and myspace and at first ppl made a big deal about it and now its not even an issue. They'll get over it.

This pic is gorgeous!!! You are wearing the most amount of clothes possible (even leg warmers, LOL) and all important parts are covered. SO WHAT?!? I go with pole-twista, nobody is forced to look 🧿 . If a cami top qualifies as "naked", then I go to work naked every day 🥂 I really don't get it why people here just freak out if they see the slightest bit of your underwear (I don't have problems quickly changing my pants in the office, in the corner, behind my desk, 2 seconds in panties covering more than my bikini 😂 but I need to check who might be around, LOL), but tiny, tiny bikinis at the pool, beach, bar, grocery store (yes, grocery store - I'm in SoCal) and minimum-fabric flimsy-whimsies for going to a club, as well as artificially enhanced body parts proudly displayed are totally normal... 🤔 🤔 🤔 We Europeans seem a bit more relaxed somehow 😁 😉
The people complaining are just jealous because you look fantastic! I don't know what it is about pole dancing that encourages people to share every small minded opinion. If the pole wasn't there I bet they wouldn't have said a thing!
i think its more because you look super hot* than half naked. i know some people can be half naked and not look like that. AND we are used to dressing half naked for pole dance...a lot of people aren't used to looking at pics like this, you know 😉 i know i got kinda pissed a few years ago (a few pounds lighter) when i wore pants and tops that fit fine--were not super tight, but they fit. other people overweight or even obese in our office wore pants that fit--i just happened to look differently in pants that fit than they did! and i did have problems with sexual harassment. so someone was talking about wearing less tight clothes or something. but that's not fair if you have a different body so you have to wear baggy clothes??? maybe you should be thinking the other way around??? lis 🙂
think you look fantastic i think the green eyed monster is stalking you ignore them
Don't you worry 😎 I think it's probably a case of ENVY.... 😂

I think that picture is very artistic and beatuful! ❤️
You should add us all onto your facebook and we can comment on how amazing that pic is, and that anyone who thinks it's "too naked" are being closed minded and judgemental and most likely just very jealous of your amazing skills.

Ew, you shouldn't put that up because you make everyone else feel so ugly and un-talented--LOL ;) I will echo eveyone else and say that the only reason they've said anything is there's a pole in the picture and you happen to look amazing! At first I wondered at how little clothing polers where but now I keep forgetting I can't check the mail in the bikini I practice in, they'll get over it too :) If not buh-bye :)

ok, so I had to see THE pic...you look amazing!!!!! PERIOD!!! If I looked like that my hubby would have a hard time convincing me not to give him one for his desk of course I ralize it would be at his job so he couldn't or everyone in the office would be poling or their wives poling in the closet God forbid...hehehe.. but for real...you are dressed..and good lord I bet everyday I wish I had a shape like yours instead of mine...Since I started poling and got the concept of more skin and got some freakin self-confidence I find myself looking at polers and thinking if everybody knew what I know about it they would all be doing it. Besides I haave seen some FB bikini photos of women my age that made ME blush and good lord they did not look defined and toned and healthy like you.. I think it sterotyping and pure jealousy. If I ever get a shape like that my hubby is going to have to tell me to put some clothes on it!

I can't make the link work =( and I have to see a pic thus incredible =D

Never mind =) I figured it out ... And ditto, you're amazing, don't worry bout a thing!
I think you look damn good in that picture and they are just mad that they don't look like that. Jealousy brings out the worst in people.
JEALOUS. HATERS GONNA HATE. Screw them all!
megan12 ·
I think your photo is absolutely lovely. Certain people get all uppity as soon as they see a pole. You're wearing more than what a bathing suit would cover. People post pictures of themselves frolicking during Spring Break in skimpy bikinis and no one gives them crap. Ignorance or jealousy are usually the root of the issue.
Hey that picture ROCKS. What is up with your friends? You should be proud of that picture. You look great !!! If I looked like you I would put that picture on a BILLBOARD. Have fun and enjoy your life.
If I looked like that I'd have it as all my display pics, facebook, twitter, everything lol. I love the pic :)
I know everyone has said a lot. Great pic!🌸
