People freaking out about picture.

so I put up this picture as my profile picture last night... http://thumbsnap.com/v/YMPQPlSN.jpg a few friends have emailed me telling me to put some clothes on..OMG, you're practically naked. I do not have any coworkers/bosses, or people from the community (teachers, other parents) on facebook, my profile is very private, so they cant even see my picture if the search. I am wearing boy shorts and a tank top, is it really too much? am I practically naked?? I just didn't think it was a big deal...wtf!!

Thanks Roxy...I just never thought it was such a big deal, a little thigh showing, yes my boy shorts rode up a little on that CAR, but it's not even a shot from the back with all my ass hanging out. LOL!!! people are weird...

Hmm... Basically it sounds like a simple case of thhey need to grow up a little! LOL!! You are fine, Honey. People who are not familure w poleing as a sport or hobby don'y realize that we would fly down to the follr quicker than lightning if we wore pants! Plus it's sexy so boo hoo hoo. It's all good. I have had similar issues w my pics though. Can ya tell? LOL!!!

I totally agree with kari & roxy-pink!! that's a beautiful picture, & yeah, most people post pictures in bikinis at the beach & that's not considered too naked! not sayin this in a mean way or anything, but sounds like you may have a couple friends who are just a tad envious.. i vote leave your picture up! 🥂

Girlfriend, that picture rocks, and most wear less at the beach and thats okay, right, and they certianly don't wear their leg warmers to the beach do they? I think those friends of yours may be just a little prude or maybe just down right jealous of your hot bod, hmmmm,lol. Hugs, the picture is tasteful and a good one, no worries!

joining the chorus of others - you look fantastic and there's nothing wrong with it! People have their head so far up other people's A**es or their own - it takes sooo much energy for people to judge, and something they know nothing about! I am dispelling myths daily about pole dancing. No one at work knows, though most of my friends do. You are a beautful dancer - keep rockin it!!!!!!

WOW my post disappeared!! Anywho LOL I get that crap all the time, especially because I'm 53, I'm told a lot that I'm a shameless hussy! LMAO....I happen to love who I am and I feel good about myself so I say to HELL with everyone else! You look BEAUTIFUL! Thank you all!! the two emails and the comments of one of them kinda got me thinking for a minute, but now I have come to my senses, LOL! the pic stays up, I am far from naked, people need to grow up, I just kindly emailed them basically saying...if you don't want to see "that", then remove me from your friends list. plain and simple. pfft.

That pic is HOT! Can't wait 'til I can hit that pose 😀 Another solution for future reference (which I just discovered yesterday from someone who knows more about FB than I), you can group friends into certain lists and set what they're able to see or not see. You can also customize privacy settings for certain pictures if you want. This can also be done on a friend by friend basis if you ever had something you only wanted to share with a few people. I have a couple of lists I've created where my "goddess" friends who I'm free to share anything and everything with because there's no judgment, they get full access to my profile, status, pics, etc. Old friends from high school or the few who knew me from a religion I chose to leave behind get limited access.

Everyone here understands that its a normal pole pic, but for someone that is not interested in pole dancing and has never tried their hand in it, it is eye opening. My sister completely supports anything I do, however, she doesn't really want to see pictures because she thinks I show too much. I mean, when it comes down to it, you are in a tank top, sometimes only a bra, and underwear. Yes, some people said that bathing suits show more but America is used to seeing people in bathing suits; America is not used to seeing people in cotton underwear. Basically, its just different and some people don't like different or change.

Girl, I can SOOOOO relate to this! And I agree with what someone else said already, "if you looked like crap, no one would care" On the contrary, you look smokin' hot, and you should be proud!! mmhmm! i thought that photo was hot too! ^^ i hate how people live under rocks and like someone said prude.. its like wtf?? if i was naked yes id see a problem but im wearing clothes.. and its not like its stripper get up.. meh a girl we went to her house tonight for a house lesson and she was talking about getting apole to take down n put back up cuz she didnt want people to see.. LOL i was like i dont give a shit. i know what im doing with it and what im not doing with it. they can think what they want, their loss for being so stuck up and close minded
