OMG! Wall 'Bling"!!

I just had a thought. When re redid thie Mid Century Modern, I got rid of the popcorn ceilings EXCEPT for the (dining room) Bar. I thought it would be cool to re do the 'glitter' on the ceiling, so we did. It was really pretty simple,only the texture/paint had to be wet for it to stick. Waa haa haa... I'm not eyeballing my pole room wall!! Wonder if it would work? *evil grin* Anybody every done a wall before?? w/glitter??? Hmmmm.

Hmmm I wonder if you could mix big glitter in a latex paint. Oh Oh Oh Oh. I know get the clear satin varnish and mix the in colored glitter. Oooo I bet that would work really well. Hmmm I have metallic blue on my pole room walls. I bet they would look really good with sparkles. I think I may need to hit the home depot and micheal's :D

Not sure how 'big' is big.. lol I went rummaging in the garage and found mine. It's pretty HUGE, sorry don't have tape measure, but you can find 'ceiling glitter' on line. Here's the one I used! http://www.amazon.com/Clear-Ceiling-Glitter-4-oz/dp/B000I1AWKY And, yeah.. I'll probably go find the paint my son used in this room, roll on another coat and start 'throwin'! :):)

I loooooooooooooooooove glitter on popcorn ceilings! Seriously, my grandma had the most pimped out 70's house with glitter ceilings, velvet walls and lavender bathroom fixtures. It was so cool! Maybe it's just me being nostalgic, but throwing glitter on wet paint sounds like a fantastic idea.

Polecat, lsd isnt back this is an old post. I also miss her. We started about the same time and conversed a lot her. I even sent her an inbox message to her mailbox and never heard back. I wonder if she is even active w her membership anymore. I always loved her videos, she was a lot of fun! :(
