So I was looking on a website (yes, naughty me) and I had a rather interesting idea. I know the fly gym is becoming a new and big thing but has anyone tried out stretching on one of these? <url>http://www.pipedreamblogger.com/wordpress/tag/sex-swing-installation-instructions/</url>; It just seems like a cheaper option to the fly gym and multi-use ;)

Those straps don't look nearly as comfortable as the fly gym. But I guess I could work. And if it doesn't, it has another use!
Lol, that's kind of how I saw it. And besides, when is anything to do with pole ever comfortable 😉 I was just wanting opinions because the strapping system looks similar but because I've never tried or seen either one in person I have no idea.
On the sex swing it is thick nylon straps (think like bookbags) and then the wider portions are just padded fabric. There is NO give whatsoever with a sex swing. For the same price (as a sex swing) you can get yourself an Omni Gym which is much more comfy. As a side note, I have used parts of my sex swing as ab straps and also as a hammock for stretching before I got my hammock set up. I think I paid $120 for mine probably 15 years ago but it looks like they are much cheaper now.
Since we "went there". I always wondered how a sex swing works and what is the purpose? I can only imagine it is so you can be about a foot off the floor, and can be spun around the mans "pole" as he lays on his back? I am not really sure. Or do you swing on it for real?
Did you click on JadeMeadow's link? Look at the positions!! Quite honestly, the easiest/most comfortable position is the woman on her back, guy standing. Instead of him having to thrust he can push the swing back and forth. The better ones have a head rest. And Lyme, your hammock can be used in much the same manner.😎

This can also be fun in a gang bang situation where the woman is blindfolded and has no idea who she gets passed to. (no, I have not done this...it is a fantasy of a friend, but I have to say it is intriguing)
I'll be honest, the only reason I'm considering the swing over the fly gym is becasue I bought a promo coupon for the website that sells them and would save me $100. It's the only way I can afford it and with our financial situation right now, it's the only way I would even be able to get something like this.
LOL Chem! That is a fantasy of mine....minus the swing since I didn't know what one was. But now, maybe I will have to add into my fantasy. ( I hope V and Webbie have gone to bed, they will probably delete this thread). Jade, I didn't even see what the prices were on those swings. Way to busy looking at the pics!
Lol, this was never supposed to turn into a delete worthy thread. I guess I should have put a warning with the pic. Didn't really clue in that they weren't wearing anything. They range anywhere from $100-250 depending on where you buy and if they're on sale. Mine is $170 but the website is really shotty (hence the promo code).

Thumbing through Veena is like reading the morning paper for me. This made me giggle this morning. I intend to make full use when the omni swing gets here lol!
I have seen them on Amazon for about $70. And I do not think this will get deleted. Anyone who has been in chat knows the kinds of conversations that go on in there (and they are usually 10x worse than this thread)!
My hubby calls my fly gym the sex swing lol. Its wayyyyyyyyy more comfy then a regular sex swing.
Lol, I bet it would be more comfy. I didn't tell my hubby that that's what I was ordering so we'll see his reaction. I'll post some stretching videos with it too when I get everything figured out. Don't worry, all decent ones of course ;)
I have a swing but put it away when I gained weight. For me when I was larger it was really not comfortable... period. Hmmmm maybe I should get it back out ;)
You totally should ;) I'm fluctuating between 130-140 right now so I don't think I need to worry about the weight bit too much.
ha I should explain better. Not weight as in lbs, but I got quite... fluffy and the straps would dig in because as chem said they are like back pack straps. When I was firm..er prior to that is was all good ;)
For a better idea what I am saying, I am talking I was 50 lbs heavier.

Interesting. There are helpful things all over the place! Occupational therapists have a wealth of information on stretching, flexibility, coordination, and grip strength. Lots of resources there. :)
