hey everyone. was wondering if anyone has any tips on the no bottom hand wrist seat. (exactly like wrist seat with no bottom hand under your bum for suppourt) i get that you have to lean back, and take the pole to 1 side of your "lady parts", but can't seem to get this variation...help? 😕

Oh....I think I've seen this before. But the girl had both hands on the pole, where your top hand would be in a normal wrist seat. I have no idea how she held herself in that position though....

I know this move as the tail sit. 😂 I've only done this move a couple times (i've forgotten about it!), so i can't be of much help, but here's what i remember: first of all, i could only do it with really short shorts (think maybe even wedgie-like, lol). I also didn't go to one side. since i had to lean way back to do it (more so than the wrist sit), it didn't affect my lady bits, even though i was right smack in the middle. Hope someone else has better tips for you! 😛 (ps. i'm doing this move in my 2nd picture in my profile) 😁
Hey Az, Maybe you were the girl I had seen doing it LOL. Do you have to really push your tail up against the pole?

LOL sissy! I'll try doing this move again tonight or tomorrow & let you two know cos i really don't remember! Although i'm sure someone else who knows better will step in with some wise words by then! I just remember holdin on real tight with my hands & leaning way back to get the pole.. umm.. you know, right in there. 😮 haha. But don't know if that's the proper way to do it. 😂

I have only been able to do it once but it involved really making sure my tail bone was curled in...I think it's kinda like your tail bone needs to be against the pole vs your thighs/wrist/lady bits in the wrist sit. Plus the sit is centered vs the wrist sit where many people do it slightly off center. I also find it seems (at least I think) easier for people with strong slpits or over splits...and THAT is something I most definitely don't have LOL 🙂

I call this a tail split and I do not do it centered on the tailbone (ouch!), instead you go from a sit, lean over to one side so that your butt cheek skin is on the pole, and open into the split. This move require lots of abs! It's similar to the bum slide in the sense that you don't want the pole to be in the center, you are going to shift it to one side of your butt so that it doesn't hurt so much! Fleur

See, i told you someone more experienced would show up with some wisdom on this! Thanks Fleur! LOL.. i was actually doing it right in the middle i think. 🧿 From the way you describe it, seems like you wouldn't actually do it ON one butt-cheek ( 😳 ) , rather the pole would be between the two, but just pressing against the one cheek instead of in the middle?? is that right? (maybe that is what i did, but just cant tell from looking at my pic). 😂
I'm with veruca, what's a bumslide? LOL

lol, bumslide is the dismount where you go from a basic inverted crucifx, put your hands on the floor in a handstand, and then split your legs into a middle split and roll all the way down until your feet hit the floor. For a good example of how to do the tail split on one butt cheek, watch Alethea at 0:19-0:25 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vvv4CkWt9ss It is possible to do it right in the middle, I just think it hurts too much! A bum slide starts in the handstand position, stomach facing the pole, and legs split.. the legs are then lowered while tilting the pelvis forward (and pole on one side like fleur said) so that your feet end up standing on the floor. There's a thread about this on here somewhere with tips for this move. It requires hamstring flexibility & i can't seem to do it very controlled, with my legs completely straight yet..sad case. 🙄 *edit*: just saw that fleur posted a better description of this move, so disregard this, lol

I'm with veruca, what's a bumslide? LOL Bum slide is when your in a reverse handstand..so your facing the pole and you keep your legs in a V and slide your bum down the pole, lowering your feet on the ground. Both of these moves are on my list for the new lesson moves.

Ahhh yes...I know the bum slide then 🙂 ...and ugg I do that centered too...I must just have a crotch of steel LOL although I do curl my pelvis under quickly to avoid any burn and I usually do it with ruffled panties - they slide better lol...dang I must rethink the whole off center thingy might be an easier/safer choice.
Jamilla has a REALLY good explanation of how to do tailspin on one of her videos. She has you starting off standing and putting the pole almost to your crotch on your left leg and then lifting your right leg into the V....just to get the right feeling and balance point. I have to have my hands way farther down close to my crotch to get the right angle on this. I have also bruised myself pretty bad learning this. 😮

I've found that having short shorts on so the side of my butt/thigh can press against the pole to hold in position. Its a bit of a balancing act. If the pole insn't tacky enough sometimes its hard to hold the position. Be careful or you'll end up hurting yourself where the sun don't shine 🙂

I used to sport a piercing in my far southern regions...now that I've had some lady part area bruising from learning new moves, I've been wondering whether poling would have really ticked it off. I think I'm grateful that piercing's lifespan didn't overlap with my poling eek lol
i didn't get me belly button re-pierced bc of worries that it would hurt or get pulled rubbing on the pole. just took my tounge ring out after 5 yrs of having it. (nothing to do w pole 😜 ) the lady bits piecing i don't know, but i wouldn't want to find out the hard way. i would call someone who does pirercings and ask what they think. 😎
I used to have standard as well as inverse navel, now I only have the inverse. But I haven't aggravated it poling thus far, even moves that have my belly right on the pole. Then again, it's a very happy and well established 5 year old piercing, I wouldn't want to heal a standard navel with poling ...eek the bending lol
