New music that's making you feel sexy!

MichelleH started this discussion · 1/25/2012

I know, this topic comes up so regularly! But I'm putting together new playlists for my classes and feeling uninspired! I'll start the list with some of my new ones and hopefully other ppl have songs to add? Sweet Dreams version from Sucker Punch by Emily Browning Careless Whisper by Seether (heavy version - quite nice) Tied my Hands by Saron Gas Turn me to Stone by Prime Circle, and As Long As I Am Here by Prime Circle (a Proudly South African band!) Any suggestions?

I have been finding a lot of music on a website called 8tracks lately. When I get home later on I will point you to a few playlists that I have favorited. I have been loving a lot of dubstep lately. One song I cannot get enough of is Paradise Circus Zeds Dead Remix.

I couldn't find the Tied my Hands or Turn me to Stone songs, are those the right bands? I added some songs to my wishlist! Chem, is that the Massive Attack song or a different Paradise Circus? I'm loving Turbine Womb by Soap & Skin (whoever recommended that one on here--Thank you!), Perfect Darkness by Fink, Faster Kill Pussycat by Paul Oakenfold (feat. Brittany Murphy), When the Stars go Blue, Ryan Adams, Blinding, Florence and the Machine...:)

It is the Massive Attack song but it is remixed by Zeds Dead. This may be it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8C-ZTQJIkU ; (can't watch at work) I believe you can find it on Soundcloud. It is the song in the recent video from the Russian girl (who was amazing) that popped up on FB and here about a week or two ago.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlJGrIyt-X8 This was a number one song in the 1970's from a real porn start who made this song, of course went straight to number one. Talks about, how do you ike it, and "getting the cameras rolling and getting the action going". More, More, More by Andrea Turner. Actually going to go do a sexy dance with my heels to it now....got me feeling sexy!

I like P!ink's So What from her album Funhouse. Not so much sultry, more kind of in-your-face. The Beatles' (George Harrison) song Something is a nice sulty one and rather appropriate for dancing. The traditional folk song That Old Black Magic is another song that to me at least seems more flirty than sultry, but depending on the artist could probably do either.

You guys are awesome! This forum always comes through for me! Off to work through the list of replies! Regarding Prime Circle, they are South African, so maybe not so easy to find (and we don't have access to iTunes, how awful is that?!). BUT, I found them available on http://www.gomusicnow.com. So those looking to download can try there?
Chad2318 · 2/2/2012
Hey Mich, have you tried that really old-ish track Sierra Leone by Mt Eden Dubstep? It mixes a bit of Freshly Grounds' "I'd Like" in it... Proudly South African...
SashaMae · 2/2/2012
Anything by Emiliana Torrini makes me feel soo good. I've also been listening to System of a Down's Mezmorize album. I LOVE it. Jeff Buckley, Maxwell and Fiona Apple also make me feel super sexy
MichelleH · 2/3/2012
Oooh, new suggestions! Thanks Chad, always looking for Proudly SA sexy music! Was listening to Levels by Avicii last night, not sure wehre they come from? Prefer it to the rap version of the song, giggle!
