Need advice on buying a pole...

Love my lilmynx. However am now wishing I had gotten a 45 and not a 50. Also have a chrome x. Like the lilmynx better, just like the grip.....maybe have to buy a 45 now. I guess I don't feel so bad that some of you have 5 poles!
Well I just measured my garage..8'6" and my bedroom is 8'6" and 9',I have a tray ceiling...and the one piece has 6 inches of extension....winner,winner,chicken dinner..I just went back in and pretended to spin with legs extended,not that I plan on doing many tricks,just not the room to do it..it just may work ceiling as far as the ceiling goes....it certainly would save me $100 to get the one piece...

"Winner Winner Chicken Dinner"! That's a cute saying, LOL! I ordered a PS one piece yesterday and am excited. As long as structurally they are sound (kind of a no brainer right?!?) poles then fall into personal preference for diamter and finish. Whichever you go with... hoping you totally LOVE it!!! I started out with 50 mm Chrome X poles. I love my X's. I like putting them in different rooms and feel very safe on them. I went with a 50 initially because many said it is a standard. I did have issues with X joints spinning around but just read they have redesigned them to reduce this. I want a single piece brass now so ordered a Platinum Stage Brass. I want to try a non coated pole that is one piece... If that works out I will eventually try their Steel. I love variety. I will do a ceiling mount on the PS pole so that one was measured just for the room it is going in. Excited to hear about how things go with your pole journey. I personally love brass...altho that is all I know...lol..I did try the chrome xpole and twisted the crap out of the skin on the inside of my arm trying to spin..I don't know if I overcompansated my grip,but my skin never burned like that on brass,even when I first started dancing..it was like I had a pole burn that is now a bruise..I did bruise that day,but did have a red looking burn as well..let me know how u like it..as well as the cover on the bottom..I do slide a lot all the way down to transition into floorwork and was wondering if that was going to get in the way of my hands sliding..
I have lilmynx 1 stainless rotator/ 2 coated/black/ 2 coated black rotators. Haven't had any problems with the stainless..only the coated non rotators. And they are the ones I use the least. go figure?
I really like platinum stages brass poles the best. I have 2 permanents at my studio. I really like that i dont have to use grip when im on it!!! It is amazing when u learn advanced moves, cuz u dont have to worry about slipping. I find that their stainless steel has really great grip as well. I was recently in a competition that used stainless steel Star stand alones, and they were brand new. I was really nervous because i thought it would be slick since it was new, but it actually had the best grip ever. I was really surprised and shocked! I didnt have to use grip on it either. 🥂
Just on a side not for those of you looking into the brass poles in canada, Aradia fitness purchases it's poles from action poles, and just resells them to you at a higher price, just go directly through action poles and you save on the middle man costs.
