Mine would have to be Vanya...just cause it sounds ultra sexy ... Long, lean, sexy Creole goddess. with a lil attitude who never gives up and stands strong.

Give us some juice to work with and maybe we'll suggest something you like. 😀 I have 5 one 45mm and four 50mm 😲 but only because I had planned on having a physical studio, back in MN before I moved...not because I'm a crazy X pole lady. 🤓 LOL I only use the 45mm and the 50 is the 12footer so I'm using part of another 50 as an extension. My 45 is really my fav because its the first X I used and its one of the poles I used in the lessons! 45 is in the living room 50 is in the bedroom hehe I have had them all the same amount of time but have used the 45 the longest. Veena I think you really are a crazy x-pole lady.. like the crazy cat lady but with poles lol so you should call one Kitty hehe Think I might go for... Gretchen for the pole and Astra for me I'll see how that works when the pole goes up later 😀

Hey Veena here are some names I found, some "girly" and/or simple and some more.... um, profound, let's say: (I threw a few guy names in there, too) Kyla Kaden (or Caden) Keisha Kiley Konnor (or Connor) Sabastian Sage Sakura Scarlet Selena Spencer Sherman Sterling Sydney Serenity Scepter Sapphire Sapphira Shiloh Vixen Valencia Vera Just a few of the ones I found that jumped out at me... dunno if you'll like them or not. You're lucky that you have more than one pole, though. You can pick more than one name! My problem is narrowing the search, so I'd be good to go if I had more than one pole because I wouldn't have to pick just one name! I'd say name your favorite pole/the one you use the most the name you like the best, or pick a more "user-friendly" name for that one. Because when you have a friend, you tend to give that friend a pet name and it's generally shorter. Your fav pole is like your best friend, right? So I think it would make sense to have a more practical name for that one. In this case that would be the 45mm, right? I would say the 50mm-12 ft. one warrants a more profound name. Not only do you use it not as much, but it's huge! Someone else named their pole Balthasar or something like that which is a really heavy name, and a name along those lines I think would be good for that pole. That's my 2 cents, I hope I helped get you thinking. 😉

I like Sakura for one of Veena's poles. I think it means cherry blossom in Japanese. (feel free to correct me...)

Yes, Sakura does mean cheery blossom. It's actually a very common Japanese name, and the cherry blossom carries a lot of symbolism in Japanese culture. (symbolic of what exactly is eluding me at the moment...) Just a side-note: Americans tend to pronounce it wrong: the accent is on the A, and Rs in Japanese sound extremely similar to Ls. So try saying it with an L instead of an R, then say it again making that L sound a little more R-like and you'll have it perfectly. 🙂

jungle you're so cute, i LOVE this thread!!!!!!! i love everyones names for their poles too, so cool!!!! my pole's name is Brandy Alexander.......and it's a girls name, but has anyone ever read "Invisible Monsters" by Chuck Palahniuk?? That character is such a mess, and not really a girl either.....LOL! 🙂

One of my cats is called Thor. He's a great listener too. I have absolutely no inspiration at all for naming my pole 🙁 Sapphyra perhaps? A twist on my birthstone.
