Hi guys, I'm new to the SV community and would like to say hi. I recently moved to Canada, Ottawa area, from Amsterdam. I started poling there at the Rasa Lila studio. I started November 2011 and had 19 lessons. Before leaving Amsterdam I started getting the gemini and butterfly down. I really missed poling after coming here and ordered my own pole. I must say, not poling for 3 months set me back and I'm starting over with learning a lot of the moves I already had down. I love being able to pole whenever I want to. But I just miss poling with other girls. Somehow it pushes me further when you do it together. Is someone out there that's in the Ottawa area and is interested in a new 'pole buddy'? I do love the site and all the video's that everyone is posting! It's amazing to see that people all around the world share the same passion and love. Hope to get better soon so I can start posting some vid's.

Hello everybody, Im also from Gatineau and I have a couple of girls who I pool with but the more the marrier. I did level 3 at OttawaPoleFitness but the next level requires a shoulder mount and I just feel too weak when I get in position. I would really be interested in doing a pole jam. Right now my place is a mess but I have a car and two poles 45 static and a 50spinning so I am very open to suggestions. Someone said they could rent out a studio, I will try to get informed on doing that too. OttawaPoleFitness studios are available Fri-Sat-Sun but for a price, but if we can get enough people its not soo bad. Looking forward too learning new tricks!

why not goin to the pole jams on saturdays at 1pm at the cherry blossom studio in Ottawa Their studio is reallly nice with high ceillings and tall poles!

There are a few of us who offered to host it at their place. So I guess thats a better option then paying money for it?.. I can make a facebook group, so if you girls would add me as a friend I can add you to the group> Sarah Albert in Old Chelsea... I think it's facebook.com/sarah.alexandra.albert That way it's easier to organise. Hope to see you all soon!

not today today i mean :P it was just a suggestion, for only 10$ its not bad studio could be a cool place because more poles ect , I would offer mine but i only re open at the end of august

Or look to plan another veener pole jam...i did one last year in Montreal but wanted to do it in another studio tris time. Ottawa area could be a good place to do it 😉

I'm all for teh pole Jam at someone's place if the group is not too big. I would rather do that than rent a studio. I already go to a studio and get free practice time so to me, the pole Jams are just for fun, to meet new girls and help others. I would rather not have to pay extra for that, unless it's a special event such as a pole party! :)

I don't mind offering up my studio in Kanata. I have 5 x-poles and an x-stage, as well as rigging for 4 more poles in my other studio. The only thing is I'm super busy in July, so i wouldn't be able to host until the end of July or sometime in August...

Hello everyone I am new to Studio Veena and to pole dancing and just wanted to say hi. I am from Vancouver BC area in a little town called Surrey.. I am nervous about pole dancing as it looks so hard.. I am going to do my best. Any advice for a new beginner..??

Hey Tweetie! Welcome to Studio Veena - this is an awesome community. I'm in Burnaby, BC and just started a few months ago and I love it! My piece of advice would be to take your time, and just enjoy yourself. Are you taking lessons outside of online?

Tweetie69 if you can you should try Veena lessons, it's really complete and with a lot of good tips for beginner to advanced and for a really good price. Welcome with us on SV 🙂
