Hairy Pits

  Socially accepted hairy pits? Don't see that happening, even though some aspects of what is deemed beautiful--either face, body or fashion--have dramatically changed over the years. Somehow I don't see the hairy pit catching on. Especially if one takes into consideration our evolutionary path; from the moment humans had lost the majority of their body hair, the smother humans were deemed more attractive, healthier, and cleaner. And it’s this exact notion that is somehow imprinted in our brains. For example, it’s the reason we’re subconsciously attracted to ads with models showing a little bit of smooth flesh. At least this is what Desmond Morris says in his fascinating book titled The Naked Woman.
