I've had my pole for the past 5 months and took such good care of her. Just now I decided to try some moves with my heels on and accidentally scratched on my pole! I feel terrible that she is scarred now! Does anyone know how I can fill the scratch? It's a TG x-pole :(

She's not scarred, just getting broken in! A pole in perfect condition is one that's not used much. That's how I look at it. 😎
Correct. And u could have a ton of scrtches and believe me,, people r not looking at ur pole when u dance. Heck i used sand paper on both my poles to rough them up a bit for better grip!

I don't worry about the scratches on my poles... often times I just think 'huh... wonder when that got there'. She isn't scarred, she is well loved and used!
Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it unless it starts to peel. Maybe put a little sealand over the scratch. Worse case scenario is you have to replace that piece (but that shouldn't cost too much.)
Just one thing - make sure it is not a deep scratch with sharp edges. I hurt my leg on a chrome pole with broken coating (chrome has sharp edges when it breaks!), and it left a scar.
Just like on a car it's the first scratch that brake you heart...after you're just piss. I manage to do small dents on mine but as long as the chrome don't flake i'm all good with it. And i must resist the urge of jumping on it for a spin when i wear my rings too lol

Thanks everyone for your responses! I woke up this morning and examined it and I guess it wasn't as bad as I originally thought it would be! It was a deeper scratch so my main concern other than the cosmetic damage was that it would start peeling and corroding overtime. I always cleaned my pole down with dish detergent & water and wiped it down with a microfiber cloth. I wonder if the water will be more likely to corrode the pole now that the coating is missing. As well, if I use sealant on it, would cleaning the pole with alcohol strip the sealant off? On a random note: How do you ladies clean your pole??
I always cleaned my TG pole with rubbing alcohol (per x pole.) They said not to use windex.

I also use rubbing alcohol. I wipe with a microfiber cloth.
Half-and-half rubbing alcohol and water is what I was recommended from my studio, so that's what I clean with :)
Eeek dont use water! Says not to use water right in care instructions... Water can get inside and corrode ur pole... Rubbing alcohol evaporates faster and wont travel where u dont want it to

I was using isopropyl alcohol to clean my chrome pole, but I ran out and started using window cleaner in the mean time.. Is that bad o_O ???
Don't worry Tali a lot of girl use that, i just can't deal with the smell. Personnaly i use rubbing alcool or vinaige/water mix and it work really well.
