Brass vs TG

I have had a stainless pole, it was my first one, it was a 50mm 9ft & It was slippery but I loved it! Now I have a 8 ft 45mm painted/powder coated pole, I love the grip. & I have used a Titanium gold pole at vertical joes in atl & at pole la teaze atl. However I've never touched a brass one :) what has the best grip between the TG & the brass? I need a 10ft pole now & I love the grip I have with my current painted/powder coated 8ft pole but its too damn short! I loved the grip on the TG's i have played on but i am interested in the brass too! My hubby said he'd buy me a 10 foot pole since I have a room for it & I want to make sure I get the best grip possible. I know I prefer a 45 to a 50 & I bet I'd like a 40 even better but idk how sturdy it would be at 10ft. Anyway, if somebody has used both brass & TG & can tell me about the grip that would be great :) Thanks!

I was going to say that too, I thought I read you have a powder coated LM and like the grip. That would save you money and they go up and down soooooo much faster!!

I could do that but I really want 4 screws to mount in the ceiling so it stays up forever & someday I'm getting a fly gym (or some kind of yoga hammock) so I think you have to use a pole that screws in the floor & ceiling for that... Idk though. & honestly I really really wanted a brass or a TG because I just don't like the look of a colored pole, lmao. I'm being picky. I will look at lil mynx s

... I didn't mean to send that yet... Anyway. I will look at lil mynx site. I have a powder coated pole from hardcore poles & I do like the grip, I wonder how the grip compares to a lil mynx. Thanks for reminding me they have a 10foot 45, I had kind of over looked them because I was so set on a x pole

Many girls have taken a block of wood, about 1-2 inches thick, 6 inches long and a few inches wide and screwed it in along a joint, then screwed the lilmynx mount into that. It adds some more stability to the mount.

I have grip issues from dry skin and was considering a brass pole... PS sales rep made a good point....you can always add a grip ad if you need it, but you can't take it away. I only use my powder coated pole for newbie students....and they eventually always prefer the stainless.. Xpoleus 40 only comes in limited finishes up to 11feet.. I'm pretty sure. Lilmynx does come up and down quickly and I have never felt it was unsafe...but I do regularly check all my poles.

I have enjoyed the powder coated but it wasn't my first choice & I got it because I was moving & I knew I would have a 8 foot ceiling at the temp house & the house we were getting...& I got it for a great deal at the time. I really want a metal surface pole again & a spinner again :)
