Any tips for putting up xpert?

Is there some sort of trick to putting up the xpert …..straight? It was very crooked…it's so heavy…I will get help next time. Also when I tried to lower the dome from ceiling, I felt like It was turning forever. I finally had to really pull it to get it loose. I checked the adjuster screws and they were very loose. This is a gorgeous well made pole, but it quite cumbersome, for me anyway. Im trying again with my daughter's help! Everytime I tried toget it loose from ceiling it would catch on another part of the ceiling which is a safety feature I know and that was impressive. My skills however…not so much. :(
