I have done a number on my back and as a result, to let it heal, I’ve been off my pole for ~ 2 weeks. I think I will need to be off for at least 2 more weeks. It stinks, but I know resting my back now will get me back on my pole sooner in the long run. In the interim I’ve been doing a lot of stretching to really work on my flexibility. I’ve also been running just to keep up general fitness. I can’t really work on ab/core strengthening b/c those types of exercises require engaging the back muscles.

So while my back muscles heal, does anyone have any other recommendations of things I can do to not fall too far behind in my poling progress? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_blackeye.gif

What about arm or wrist exercises? Not like push-ups obviously but maybe with some dumbbells or something.
