    ok … I’ve done it.
I think I know now what’s with all this Safety first! Shoulders back and down! ;(

Maybe it’s overuse or/and not paying too much attention to the right position of the elbows.
Anyway, the thing is my right elbow hurts and I stopPed any kind of pole dancing activity for the last 4 days.
I guess (and hope) it’s nothing serious.

But I wanted to mark again for those begginers like me that you should have a break between your workouts. So that your muscles have the time to rest. And when it hurts or you’re body is screeeaming Stoooop! I can’t do it anymore! maybe you should stop challenging your limits …

I used to dance for about up to four hours/ day not daily but almoust…

Sooo, OK you’re craaaaazy about pole dancing BUT keep yourself safe, so you can continue dancing and not be forced to take a looong unwanted break ;(

Oh Jalin–so sorry about your injury, but thank you for posted about it. Hopefully more newcomers will read this thread and listen more carefully to their bodies.

    Hope you heal quickly!

Up to 4 hours a day?!? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif almost daily?!? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif When were you sleeping, eating, ect? Wow. That is super intense.

Sorry to hear you got hurt though. Hopefully you’ll heal quick and by then your muscles which prob got really broken down (as they do when you workout) will have built up and you’ll be nice and strong and, most importantly, safe.
