reverse grab reverse pinwheel combo
On the second part of this move when you switch hands how do you stay spinning to go into the pinwheel. Everytime I try, I stop spinning right when I get into the pinwheel???? Any ideas?

This move requires quite a bit of momentum as well as some distance between your body and the pole. I find that the timing of the switch is also important.. if you switch to pinwheel too late, you’ll have run out of spin-momentum. I usually start transitioning into the 2nd part right after i have grabbed the pole with my bottom arm (for RG)- right before i corner in for a complete circle around the pole. so by the time i’ve made my first circle around the pole, i’m already in pinwheel. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif But this could be different for different people. hope that makes some sense!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Yeah you have to really fly into it. That’s how veena taught me.
If you saw the youtube video of me doing it I was just walking into it without any momentum…that’s not the way to do it right LOL.

what they said, I also don’t fully grab the pole on the reverse grab, I just kinda touch it and the turn to the reverse pinwheel, if you grab to hard your momentum, is gone, you’ll stop on your tracks.

Thanks gals, I was going into the pinwheel too late then I would guess. I will try more today after I get my kiddos off to school. I should make a video so when I FLY around the pole and bust my a$$ I can send it to america’s funniest video’s lol jk
