So ive recently bought a x pole. I got it around the very end of nov, used it 3-4 times then landed wrong and fractured my toe/foot. So no walking (i sorta gimped along) and no pole for anout 2 weeks. The swelling and pain starting going away this week. It was so depressing not being able to use the pole, since i just got it and all. ANYWAY the point here is, I used the pole last night and was on spinny to warm up and goof around then put it back on static. but it still kept moving and turning a bit. I loosened and retightened the screws and tried again. STILL it keep moving! its ok for climbing and sitting but as soon as i do a spin that involes spinning with a tight grip it loosens and just twists a bit. its very hard doing a move and im hoping the pole will stay and last second it seems to come loose again and UGHHHH

ive tried many times loosening the screws and then really tightening them….but no luck https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

    help!

Hi, the holes that you use to put it on spinny and onto static should be lined up with the little x’s on the base https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif If you are doing this and the polem is still spinning then you may need to ring x pole https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif x

I’ve found re-tightening the big threaded rod at the top of my pole fixes that problem for me.

if mine does that I don’t reloosen the screws. I just check the alignment of the Xs and retighten. If I reloosen them then it keeps happening so I just tighten from where it is and that does the trick.

Is the entire pole twisting or is it "rocking" back and forth a bit like it’s loose?

If the pole is more or less unwinding the little hex nuts at the bottom have nothing to do with it.

If you clasp the pole too hard or have not secured the locking nut at the top of the pole then your pole will twist and start to unwind. This is actually unsafe because it loosens the pole and can come down.

Now if it just twists back AND forth a little bit like it’s loose then the hex nuts need to be tightened but you must be careful not to over-tighten them as they can be stripped!
