    I learned the boomerang hold first, it takes strenght, you gotta be comfortable with holding your boomerang for a bit before you spin it. thighen the abs, pelvis forward, pointed toes, try to get your legs as high as you can, when you get that hold then the spin is easier.     You would think that this spin/pose would be about leg strength but it’s really about abs…you need to lift your legs with your abs…I know it sounds silly…but once I figured that out I could do it no problem! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

    I think this move requires more lower ab strength so maybe you could work on strengthening those muscles. Lower abs are on the top of my "Muscles to work on" list. They’re used so much in poling (inverting, shoulder mounting and such).

    I’m working on this same spin as well and I’m going to try focusing on my abs next time I try it.

    got my legs straight and kept my feet off the ground for about 3 seconds last night – woo hoo
