choosing a pole?!?!?

I’m Tam, and I’m VERY new to pole dancing https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_tongue.gif
I’ve just signed up to be lessons and thought if I like’em I’ll buy a pole and start practising. Well, I like the lessons https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif !
I live in the UK so I’ll probably not buy from this site because shipping would be a fortune… Anyway the X pole seems the most popular, but so many to choose from, I’m not sure which to go for or what to take into consideration! I’m sure there is an article or something on it but I couldn’t find anything except on how to set up the pole, yeah I know, I’m simple https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_silent.gif
I’m also unsure as whether to choose a 45mm or 50mm…

Here’s the article on things to know before buying a pole, there’s some you shouldn’t get because they’re not made very good at all and end up collapsing as a result, which could cause serious injuries and then there’s a list of some good ones, the X-Pole being one of them https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
