booties
Hey Ladies
I'm sure most of you at some time have experienced the wonderful sensation we lovingly call pole burn, especially on the top of the foot. So to counter this I built myself a pair of pole booties, their based off a leather set of trapeze boots i have, I just took the pattern off the leather ones, and re made them in patent leather (shiny vinyl) they actually turned out pretty well, the vinyl I used was kinda cheap, so their already ripping a bit in certain places, but that's my own fault for using low end material.
I'm trying to get a actual pattern made up for them, If I can find a way to post it online would anyone be interested? it would be free to whoever wants it, the lady that made my leather ones charged me over $200 a set, when all in all it was only about $15 in materials and maybe 5 hours of sewing https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif (maybe, if your good with a machine, it might only take you 3,)
the ankle things mighty grip makes are ok, but they stop really low on the shin, they also only use strips of tack, so there's gaps in some places, I got to say these things really take the ouch factor out of some of the grippy moves (yes i'm a wimp,….no I dont' care)
If anyone dosn't think they would be able to make themselves and would like a pro set made, I can forward you the address of the lady who made my leather ones, I"m sure she could do vinyl ones if you requested it. for those of you who are handy i'll see what I can do about a pattern.
cheers
