Hello! Nice to have you here. If you’re new to exercise it’s best for your body to maintain the rest days I have planned for you. Pole holds require a good deal of strength. Which means warming up before working on them is helpful in preventing injury and allowing your muscles to rest is a big factor in seeing gains.
I totally get that we all want to see very quick progress and it feels like the best way is to achieve this is to do more. More is not always better. If you don’t allow the muscle groups used for Pole Holds to rest, they’re unable to repair themselves and this repair process is how strength is developed. It’s through rest that we see growth, because when you challenge your muscles by lifting heavy things [like yourself or weights] micro tears happen in the muscle, this is normal and what we want. So keep in mind that lifting heavy weights causes micro tears the muscle and rest repairs these tears, which in turn increases your strength. Exercise = tear and Rest = repair 😀
Now if you’re not new to exercise and your body is use to training often doing Pole Holds daily wouldn’t be a big deal because our bodies to acclimate to the strain we place on them, but this takes years.
