XPole is sponsoring The American Pole To Peak Challenge for Debbie Plowman…the British woman who was paralyze when she fell from her pole during class while doing a Cross ankle layback in late 2009.
Debbie is paralyze from the neck down and requires a ventilator to breath. She can mouth words but cannot speak or move other than to shrug her shoulders. She can however still feel pain in her body.
My brother Ken Menconi found out about Pole To Peak where up to 30 people related to pole dancing will participate in a fundraising event to climb Mt Kilimanjaro in March of 2012 . He will be 61 years old when he does this!!!
