Ok so far so good… Only hiccup is I’ll be traveling and without a pole for a few days later this month.
This only effects day #15 and 17 (16 is a rest day). I’m not sure what I’m going to do just yet. I was going to skip the rest days before it… and then just rest that whole weekend.. but I think thats not best, I like my rest days AND I don’t want to do so many days without working my abs 🙂
So maybe just to the exercises I can do (unless I can find something to sub in for a pole, but I’ll be staying with family in Cincinnati and I’m just not sure how much exploring I’ll be able to do, but It’s possible)… I think I’ll be able to find something to do the twists, roll ups and leg lifts with (a basketball net pole perhaps) but I’m not sure about the knee tucks.
OR maybe I’ll switch the 14th with the 15th, and the 17th with the 18th because the 14th and 18th don’t need poles (Superman, camel, bird dog)
We’ll see, I have time to figure it out. 🙂

I think a door way will work for some things if its wide enough… but not for knee tucks, but for twists certainly.

I would just flip the days! Now to remember to do mine tomorrow!

I would look for a playground to do your knee tucks at because it’s not just the abs you’re working, it’s the back and biceps as well. 😀 everything else can be done with a doorframe.

Veena, I’m seeing chiro and he says my shoulder girdle, rotator cuff, pecs, delts, rhomboids are all over trained and I must rest them for a week, no inverts, pull ups etc.
Can you suggest how I can modify the Ab challenge for a week to allow upper body healing time?

My abs already feel tighter and it’s only day 5. Awesome 🙂 I have never been very consistent with ab workouts so i guess this with all the other pole stuff is making the difference. It makes me excited to see what it will feel like at the end of the month. Anyone else notice a difference or am I just crazy?

See for me I don’t feel the twists too much… Yet. I watched the video so many times to make sure I’m doing it right… And I stay engaged in the core… But I’m not sure I really feel it. The knee tucks and roll ups I’m certain I feel thought!!!!

I’m still here and continuing to do the challenge as well. I always watch the videos too to make sure I’m doing it right as well. When I do the twists I can kinda feel the air in my lungs being pushes out when I twist ts weird. The tucks will def prove to be the most challenging!

Still doing this daily. The roll ups are tough for me. I can hear myself grunting the entire time…lol! I’ve been trying not to look forward, but couldn’t help but notice by day 30 I have to do 20 of them!!!

I’m coming to this late, but I hope to start tomorrow.
I have a few questions, if someone could please help me with answers. 🙂
1) Can I do this ab challenge completely on its own and still get good fat burning going on? I’m trying to get fitter/slimmer using my wedding in 6 weeks as a short term goal, so I want to make sure I’m getting the best exercise possible to achieve this.
2) On rest days, I’d feel like I was wasting my time doing nothing! What can be done on rest days that is resting, but still beneficial to the body?

I got a bit of a late start, just did day 6 of both the ab challenge and the 30 plank challenge and my abs are pretty sore from yesterday lol i gotta confess this is the farthest i have ever gone in any kind of 30 day workout challenge and im pretty proud!!
