  • VS Yoga Shorts as Pole Shorts?

    Hey ladies!

I've been contemplating buying VS yoga shorts for pole but I'm not sure if that could interfere with grip. My butt gets bigger every pregnancy and the little booty shorts I bought for pole… are not doing much for coverage, lol!

I prefer having a bit of coverage but I worry that maybe the VS yoga shorts come down too far on the legs? (I wish they still carried their seamless bootyshort panties at my store, although they were quite thin and I hate "those outlines" on me.)

Have you tried the Mika Lucia short? I feel like the coverage in the back is great. http://www.mikayogawear.com/product/side-string-shorts/lucia-short-no-drawstring.php

Hi Adastra – I had a look at the short – to my eyes I would think it runs a little long, but maybe not by much and considering some seem to be on clearance online at the moment, I'd say give them a go…

I do however have shorts on order from this seller –

They look like they would cover more, but are a bit shorter. I don't know yet what they are like but they should be arriving any day now 🙂

I agree with frenchhorndiva, the Mika, Lucia shorts are perfect. I have a big bubble butt. they cover my butt and I can make them a little shorter by pulling the side strings.

Oh, and onzie shorts too – the tops are small, but the shorts have fantastic coverage…

I have two pairs of onzie shorts. I am probably on the upper end of fitting those shorts. You are smaller than I am, so you should fit okay…not sure about the preggo belly though. That might make them a bit too snug. The peacock fabric is also wayyyy stiffer than the leopard ones.

Myself an majority of girls at my studio wear these http://m.supre.com.au/product/82884?CategoryId=32 they end up being tucked up at the front, but they provide ample butt coverage.

Our studio also sell shorts similar to the lucia shorts, but the drawstrings pull from the waist rather than the leg, so they are out of the way.

I own two vs pink yoga shorts and love them. They don’t show or gap around the peekacho area and are very comfortable…btw, I’m not a small girl…medium build and the mediums do me fine. If you have the “free” money give them a try…..just to be clear I bought the pink line not the regular line of yoga….there is a difference. The regular line was tighter and more compression that I didn’t like on my thighs.

Hi there! I recently bought a pair of Hot Drop shorts at the Boston SuperShag pole competition. I got the string along shorts and i LOVE them! They are a tad bit longer than yoga hot shorts, provide excellent coverage for my booty cheeks without impeding on my leg holds! And the material feels soooo nice. 🙂 I did get the orange pair cuz i wanted something bright and it does show my panty line a bit. But wear a thong, and you're golden. I'm sure the darker colors or prints wouldn't show panty lines.

adAstra, I own 2 pairs of the VS Pink yoga shorts, I bought them at the same time and to be honest I don't like using them for pole although that's what I originally got them for. Length wise, they work fine but my big issue is the fold-over at the waist. I also have a big booty, but a smaller waist. The fold-over always ends up unfolding and flipping up over my stomach. I guess it's because the butt fits nicely but the fold-over is a little loose thanks to my curves, I tried on smaller ones but my butt was not working in them. It's especially aggravating on the pair that has a sequined "PINK" logo on the back of the fold-over, it flips up and scratches me!
