Transitioning out of marley?
Hey girls and guys!
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas of what moves I can link to a marley? (http://www.triagedesign.co.uk/wikipole/images/b/b6/Marley.jpg)
I get into it from a cupid/star/princess (something like http://www.triagedesign.co.uk/wikipole/images/thumb/6/6f/Star.jpg/200px-Star.jpg) – and get out of it by going into a shooting star (http://www.triagedesign.co.uk/wikipole/images/thumb/b/b9/Shootingstar.jpg/200px-Shootingstar.jpg) but I’m tired of this combo. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Ummm. Maybe a Knee Hold or Superman? Your legs are pretty well in the position for it… all you have to do is get those hands free and back onto the pole. I usually start with the bottom hand onto the pole and then once i feel secure I can grab onto the top, then you can flip ur leg to a Superman or push that bottom knee onto the pole for a Knee Hold.

I just saw a vid in which sarah cretul drops from marley straight into scorpio (inside leg hang). It’s at about 2:58 in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H28UQcXDGyo&feature=related.

She got into the marley from side climb, which is pretty much the same as from cupid/star/princess.

I was gonna suggest the same thing as E. Just make sure you try dropping into your scorpio slowly till you get the hang of it. I do it all the time and it does look pretty sweet when you can make dramatic drop…good luck to you!!!

Oh that sounds exciting! I really want to try it – but both fo those vids says "this video has been removed by the user". Does anyone know any other vids that demonstrate the marley into scorpio?

It’s basically the same concept cause you really just have to let the upper body drop and get the inside arm hooked around the pole. I’m pretty sure marley into scorpio is almost exactly the same as princess drop into scorpio – show u when we have POLE JAM!! woohoo!!!
