    Hello everyone,

I bought a titanium gold one month ago, and now i notice that the top bit of the pole is completly silver!

One of my old teacher told me that it wouldn’t affect the grip, but it is not what my students are thinking ( now they are all complaining that they can’t do the moves because the pole is too slippery, grrrrr)

What do you think? Does anyone has this problem?

I have always used alcohol to clean it, nothing else which can destroyed the color…

Anyway, it is very not aesthetic, so i will contact Xpole or Vertical dance UK where i bought it and show them a picture…

Thank you for your help, i am pretty annoyed about that https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

if you read the fine print, it says:

Special Note: The Gold color Titanium electronic coating can fade/change color if left in direct sunlight or with high use. The change of color does not affect the superior grip.

i don’t think they’ll be able to do much, sorry.

    best of luck though.

Thank you Nelly for your help https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I dont understand why they are doing them in gold, if the color fade after one month…
Now my pole is gold/silver and gold again at the bottom, it is very ugly…

Yes the TG can discolor…..and it wont affect the grip, or at least that is what I was told when I spoke with them in person. They told me, the grip remains the same. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif This is another reason why I tend to steer eveyrone to the chrome.

I had the same thing happen. I contacted them, sent them some photos and they sent me a replacment part that should be arriving this week.

I’m actually hoping some of the TG comes off on my pole. The chrome finish was so much easier on my hands for spins.

yeah the fine print (which i read after mine began fading) states that the colour will indeed wear off and that by buying the product you agree to these terms or some such thing
mine has worn in the two spots i handle the most (grip). so now my pole from top to bottom goes gold silvery gold silvery gold…ha! at first i blamed the fade for a lousy grip on the lower half but i realise it is just the awful weather lately. so yes we are simply stuck with funky looking poles…it is nice to hear someone else speak of this. i cannot believe yours faded after only a month though.
    thanks for the post…

Yeah my chrome has faded on the top section, where my hand would be placed for spins! Its very irritating! But I have it more than a year so I just have to accept it! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif
