Okay so I know that a lot of people post on this particular move but I looked through and I haven’t found anyone who is having the same issues that I’m having. So here’s my problem: I get into the position and I let go with my lower hand and I reach out and then…I go down. Its like I can’t engage my muscles fast enough! Any tips?

Hmm I usually make sure I have a good grip with my top hand before letting go of the bottom and extending it.
You will probably find it much easier that way https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

There will alway be somewhat of a droppage but if you arch your back a little and squeeze those inner thighs like hell that might help and as PoleDork said, make sure you have a strong grip with your top hand. Maybe post a vid…

LOL my "learning process 2" vid is full of clips where that happens to me. I just assumed that it was a strength and grip issue, since i kept practicing it untill finally i could let go of the bottom hand without going down anymore. Just keep practicing!!

Try arching your back more and when squeezing your inner thighs think more about squeezing your butt cheeks together…sounds kinda weird but it’ll help you feel the hold you need to stick it! Good luck https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
