    Hi
My x-pole at home is really slippery, even though I clean and wipe it regularly with towel. The x-pole at work isn’t half as slippery… struggling to do the cross ankle release at home as I keep slipping down https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

    Any advice?

(this subject has probably already been covered, but help still appreciated!)

that’s one of the topics that covered it. There were quite a few a while back. It also has a link to Veena’s article bout tempermental poles.

My pole is super slippery when the air’s on. Since I don’t have control of the air, I’ve tried everything. Best so far is Method’s Best in Glass window cleaner. Better for you then Windex AND mint scented. Mmmmmmmm. Minty Pole. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif

If it’s humid and the air is off then I just use plain Rubbing Alcohol.

hipshaker, I have the exact same problem!!! I can do loads on the poles in the studio and when I try to do it at home I fail! I think it might be that there’s more space in the studio or something! It drives me crazy anyway thats all I know!
