  Skin hurt and move name

  Hello,

  yesterday I did the move of this link

  could anybody tell me the name of this move? The link says gemini but gemini, I think, is this:

  Another thing… When I did it, the skin of my legs (in contact with the pole) hurts, is it normal? It hurts me too when I do sit position…

  I’m suppose that it’s normal, because I only have 1 week practice pole, but it hurts quite a lot…

  Some call this move the gemini but some call it a scorpio…depends on where in the world you are. I find it easier to go by inside leg hang and outside leg hang. Yes it is VERY normal for it to hurt! That is one of the prices we pay to pole! Eventually once your skin "toughens" it won’t hurt anymore. Well done if you were doing this after only a week! Please be careful and not rush learning new moves as if you don’t have the strength yet you may get hurt! Hope you share your progress!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

  I was just working on a neat and educated response and you beat me to it Roxy! LOL.

  I sometimes get the Gemini and Scorpio confused so I go by the leg hang like you said. If the outside leg is hooked I call it a Gemini. If the inside leg is hooked I call it a Scorpio…I think….. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif

  Yeah, the skin will hurt…but it does get better https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I call the first move the gemini and the second the scorpio….but inside/outside leg hook/hang is a lot more descriptive. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif

  Roxy, I’m careful, no worry, I have a little strenght because I practice aerial silks and trapeze… even so, I don’t have enough strenght, I need more as to aerial silk, trapeze and, of course, pole… but my legs have more strength than my arms, because that, It’s less difficult for me hook leg… (I’m horseback rider a lot of time)
