I've had my new chrome X-pole for a few weeks, and the adjuster screws and scraping and cutting the hell out of my feet and ankles! Is this part of the pain that comes with pole dancing, or is my pole assembled incorrectly? I've tried tightening the screws, but I can't tighten them further.

If the screws can't be tightened, is there anything I can use to cover the screws? Or any attractive apparel I can wear to cover my ankles? I prefer to dance barefoot. Thank you.

Whoa, that sounds not at all normal!!

Are you talking about the three screw on the adjuster rod?  If so, there is a cover that goes over that.  Maybe yours didn't get packed in with your shipment?

Or are you talking about the two screws at the bottom that make the pole stationary or spinny?  Those should be flush with your pole too, if they aren't I'd give customer service a call.

Or maybe post some pics here and someone can help you troubleshoot.

OK, looking at the assembly manual now…

It's the three hex screws right above the adjuster thread, which is covered.

Is the cover somehow supposed to go over the three hex screws, too?

Me and my pole struggles 🙂

    I solved my dilemma!

The pole wasn't alligned properly on the adjuster thread, so the screws weren't going in all the way. Now my pole is smooth as it should be.

Back to poling. K thx bye!
