    Since I can master a basic split on both sides (still working on that side split). I want to do a pole split but every time I lift my leg up to get it up there im not fully up there and im getting it. Should I work on my side split and then work on the pole split? Any suggestions?

    it would also help to strengthen your hip flexors…as this is what you use to raise your leg up….
