    Hey,

I am looking for some smaller shorts to pole in – more skin grip etc. But I don’t want them to be so tight that my thighs look flabby if you know what I mean?! Overhang is what I am worried about!

So my question is – are there any good shops/companies in the UK that we can buy good pole shorts from? The ones on Ebay look quite lycra-ish and tight – anyone got any recommendations?!

You know I’ve been looking for decent pole shorts in the UK for ages. They seem to either be too short and tight so they’re more like booty shorts and I’m not really comfortable showing my bum off (yet!) or too slack round the legs so you show everyone what you had for dinner when you do an inverted V.

There are some of the pole schools that sell their own shorts but I think they are quite expensive for what you are buying. If you type in Ben Dover on ebay, they look like quite good shorts (althought I have yet to buy them – am intending on doing that), tight but not too tight and short but not too short if you know what I mean! I think they are around £10 plus postage.

Other than that, I’m no use to you whatsoever https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Ah thanks hun, I’ll go and have a look on Ebay now!

Our pole school sell their own skirts and vest tops but not sure about the shorts – the vest tops are £11.50 at discount price though so I can imagine they would be quite expensive from there! The little skirts that a lot of the girls wear with shorts underneath are nice but our instructor said eventually these get in the way and you spend more time trying to tuck them in your shorts so she doesn’t bother with them anymore.

I’m the kind of girl that likes to try things on before I buy – I’m picky about material lol.

Thanks for the tip though, I will go and search now – and I’ll let you know if I find any other sites etc! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Get a cheap pair of cycle shorts and cut them down to the length you want.
Cut them about 2 inches longer than you think you need them, they will roll up.

thanks for this post! (and the replies too!)

I have been using two pairs of Primark knicker shorts (dunno what they are really called but they are in the ladies underwear section and they look like shorts!) I have to wear two at once or they are erm.. see-through but the Ben Dover once look just sooo much better https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I like the design on the back of them as well https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Don’t know how long it would last once you start washing them like……

Not thought of using underwear. i wear two pairs at the moment – I wear Thinsulate underwear shorts and then baggier ones on top but it’s all abit bulky round my waist. I just don’t have the confidence to do the tight shorts thing yet – hopefully it will come one day! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

Yeah I really like the logo too! I also read the question that someone asked and the seller said if she sends a medium and they don’t fit she can change them for a large or small! That is good to know because I do like to try before I buy! Lol.

Might invest in some of those next week when I have a spare tenner! I like the pink ones https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

That might have been me asking https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif I couldn’t decide what size to get and the seller told me that the medium were about a size 12 but they had been told in the past that they came up small so they were happy to change them if the sizing wasn’t as expected. We like helpful sellers like that https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

It’s not in the UK, but have you looked up PoleSkivvies??? She has a website where she sells pole dance tanks and shorts that she designed specifically for pole dancing…

She’s on here, too, if you wanted to look her up.

Veena has some lovely booty shorts here on the site. Im from Ireland and I bought them and I LOVE them! But if you want something that will cover even more of you than that, I also bought a nice pair of shorts in New Look. They were quite cheap and not skin tight either! I have also used girl boxers from Primark (or Penney’s as its known in Ireland) and they work well! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

When buying from the US and Canada just be aware that you might have to pay import taxes and charges! Although I thought Id have to pay taxes and charges on the StudioVeena clothes it actually turns out that I didnt have to pay them at all! Happy days! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Hey, Poletopia carries Poleskivvies and Mika Yoga Wear shorts that ship to the UK. Its only $1.75 more to ship internationally. Also, there are a lot of products for polers besides clothes.

I would suggest the Fold Over or Brazil Shorts at <a href="http://www.BadKittyPoleWear.com"&gt; Bad Kitty Pole Wear</a> They are made special so that there is never any muffin tops!
