congrats on the new house . and I’m sure that your pole room will be great .
My hubby and i have been talking about making a move here lately . I’m in Dayton beach Florida and we are thinking about moving farther south . like port st Lucie Florida .one of the girls here on the site is in that area and she says that she loves it there . and we have family there . I told my hubby that I’m good for the mode under conditions . i told him that i the new house has to have an extra room that is big enough for me to make a full pole and dance studio out of and either hard floors through out or a pool . i told him that if i get the pool and not the floors that he will at least have to put hard floors in my dance room because my high shoes don’t move well on the carpet and i get rug burn when i do floor work ….lol he says that he is more then willing to try to accommodate those request for me so we have started looking . and we are planing a trip soon to stay with family for a week to really check out the area . so when i get my new place every one on here can help me decorate my dance room to …lol -
Oh how exciting https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif Congrats! I hope your new pole room will turn out fabulous. I’m still toying with the idea of turning our dining room into a pole room. We like to eat as a family every night so we have to make sure not to loose that. We do have an eat in kitchen but our dinning table is too big the another option is to eat outside…its usable most of the time but for the winter we would have to buy some out door heaters. But it could be fun I’m sure our neighbors would think of us as the crazy MN people who always eat outside.
Poles-That would be great if you were able to get a place with a pole room, I agree with the hard floors. I like to wear heals but its tough on the carpet. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif

ya thats one thing i dont like in my pole room carpet i usually am barefoot bc of this i almost hurt my knee once when tried to do a twirl and knee/leg went one way while shoe couldnt glide over carpet so foot stayed in one place (twisted knee) i wish had hardwood floors carpet has benefits too though my pole is in attic so keeps it a little warmer and of course is nice when doing floorwork as long as your not rubbing things over floor ( knees when crawling ) no matter what negative thing i can think about pole ( too short ) or room (way too cold in winter way too hot in summer ) i am sooo grateful to have a pole at all; that i’m happy https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
