It would help if we knew your area and how much you were willing to spend.

Wildrose you must be new to poling. We on studioveena promote safe poles only from lil mynx xpole and platinum stages. Not cheap fake and unsafe poles from amazon. There is no such thing as cheap pole. Being cheap will have you injury something that you may or may not be able to recover from. We have lots of blogs about unsafe poles. And those amazon poles are on top of the list. Ladies treat yours to new poles and invest the time and money for a real pole

Yeah, I’ve just read the reviews for that second pole and I’d be willing to bet that those first good reviews (that have all coincidentally popped up very recently) were written by the company that sells it. Definitely pay the extra for a real xpole (or platinum stages, lil mynx, rpole etc), not one of these imitation knock offs, and order directly from the manufacturer where possible.

Hi there! 🙂 I highly recommend staying away from amazon & eBay 98% of the poles sold through those outlets are fake xpoles, off brands/rip offs & unsafe.

If you buy used, do so from a fellow poler or pole dance studio only.

It’s worth it to wait a few extra weeks and save your money to buy a legit, safe pole from a trusted pole manufacturer or distributor direct. Xpole, Platinum stages and Lil Mynx are my recommendations.

Those links are the same poles that seriously injured a poler recently, per x pole. DO NOT BUY THEM!

I have purchased that pole from amazon a while back to save money when I wanted to get a 45 mm. I already had an xpert xpole in a 50mm. That pole from amazon is a big piece of garbage. It is really built cheap and it bows, it comes unloose when on static, it fell with me on it, etc.. It is way inferior to my xpole. It now sits in my spare bedroom. I would save your money and get a better pole like lil minx or xpole etc.

Choreography house in LA is auctioning off their poles starting at $50 http://www.32auctions.com/organizations/12943/auctions/14297?search_type=item_category&search_val=Poles

There are actually X-Pole verified sellers on eBay where you can find a real, legit X-Pole for $275 with free shipping (sometimes even lower depends on finish). But you do need to call XPole USA, give them the seller ID and the auction number and they can verify for you.

I bought mine from a verified Seller on eBay…when one of section of my pole didn’t have 100% “smooth” finish, I called XPole USA and they send me a new part right away, free shipping.

So yes, SHOP AROUND but call XPole USA to verify to make sure it’s 100% legit where they will back it up with warranty!

Authorized X-Pole sellers are not allowed to sell poles below X-Poles list price. If the pole costs less than it does anywhere else, they are not authorized and you cannot know what you are receiving.

Webby~~ I’m just sharing my experience…Like I mentioned before…ALWAYS verify with XPole USA to make sure it’s legit. For me, buying it off eBay saved me $60 worth of shipping fee (that alone was worth it)…plus my pole got a year warranty from XPole USA (which I did end up using) So I know it’s legit.

    All the Best~~

It’s not X Pole but I’ve just come across this 45mm static/spin pole…http://www.aureliansports.com/grip-pole/ they’re going to be used in the World Championships so even though I’ve not heard of them before they must be trustworthy. I think it’s always best to buy new, you don’t want to risk your safety! Know what you are buying.

I just heard about hem recently too. They CAN ship to the U.S. right now, but it would be costly. They are looking into a U.S. distributor center. They posted pictures of their joints here: https://scontent-a-sea.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc1/t1.0-9/p200x200/10178063_224758187714084_938102192_n.jpg

I’m curious about the pole myself.

I’m going to suggest that if we want to discuss the Aurelian pole we start a different thread. This thread is about a pole that is cost efficient which the Aurelian pole does not really fit into when shipping to the US.
